In this week's Star Wars: The Old Republic column we examine the neat stuff coming to the game in Update 1.3.

First, let’s start with the possible (but unconfirmed) title for Update 1.3. A recently released financial report for EA detailed two new content packs that would be available by the end of EA’s Q1 (ending in June), and they are ‘Legacy’ and ‘Allies’ respectively. Obviously, we’ve seen Update 1.2: Legacy, so it’s safe to assume that Update 1.3 would be the ‘Allies’ content pack.  Interesting name, but what’s its significance? We learned a bit more about that in SWTOR’s first podcast episode, which debuted yesterday.

Once the 30 days frre run out I wonder how many people will stay.

Group finders in an MMORPG...sigh. I guess in an instanced world, this would be required. Give me a free open world where I can find my groups by adventuring.

This is crazy , lol...Group finder?  My server is dead, 100% dead..I don't need a group finder, or more warzones, or more flashpoints, I need more players and until they fix that nothing else matters, nothing.

I agree. Bioware needs to do this ASAP - - waiting until early summer (June 20th or later) is just too long.

It's pretty pertinent - Bioware gave people who agreed to resub for a month an extra free 30 days (the deal was a few weeks ago). I too wonder how many of those people will stay after the free 30 days given them by BW to artificially-populate their game.

The server transfers will be starting soon, I imagine they want to wait until they are underway properly before assessing which servers to merge with which and which to then close. Merging now wouldn't do anyone any good if the population was to suddenly shift afterwards due to server transfers and people moving their toons to their current reroll servers.

So far the info for 1.3 is underhwleming, for me anyway. I don't raid so the group finder isn't much use to me and i'll already have augmented gear for all my characters by then anyway. Legacy is just a plain let down full stop.

I also agree wtih you guys!.... I think Bioware is afraid from a PR stand point.

The forums on here and everywhere else will blow up with threads titled - "LOL SERVER MERGES = THE BEGINNING OF THE END"

Unfortunetly they NEED to be done ASAP...

To bad, it comes here at the end of June since TSW will come out mid June..

So sad that its comming out to late for me, so no more SWTOR for me after mid june

Of course as usual, the content updates are a waste and a slap in the face for SW RP'ers who care about the canon and not some money-grabbing WoW-clone with no soul. In fact it's ironic in the freeze frame above it shows two characters sitting at a table talking which of course is impossible to actually do in-game. Nice show of more false advertising Bioware.

Same here. Server merges need to be done now. And, if they don't do cross server LFG, it will not help as much as they think.

I am one of those lingering subscribers, I am subbed, but find myself logging in very little (not at all in the last two weeks) and sadly, I dont find myself missing it. Now that summer is coming, and my calendar looks pretty much packed, it would really take a miracle to keep me in this game.

Time to get off my lazy ass and unsub.

I agree with the above poster (yay summer!).  I need get off my butt and unsub. My wife is keeping me subed just in case she ever logs in again lol.  It's been very boring the last two months.  One leveling path makes this game very difficult to lvl more than 1 alt.

hope the fekkers release more alien spieces instead.

How about the ability to sit in a chair? ... still no?   ok...
