Yeah but to be fair, for quite a long time DARKFALL was #1 here..

Yeah I mean I (want to) love that game and hope one day they actually release 2.0 etc, but their forums have like 100 people on them, no way they organized a 'raid' on the charts.

Something is skewiff, off kilter, as it were.

It does sort of look like the OP either joined the forums (or made an alt account) simply to bash TERA.

And looking at this post, I question whether the OP likes MMO's at all, since it would appear he really doesn't.

Perhaps a different genre is in order?

There is very likely only minor overlap between this site's forum crowd and visitors to the rest of the site. You'll find that most MMO gamers neither care about nor rage about half the stuff in the bittervet circles.

This game's pretty damn fun! As long as you don't do quests! (BAMs give more than enough xp to make up for it, and it's so freaking fun)

There are just many players who like this game and rate it high.

I'm not sure I'm following.  The two lists I see are Top Voted games and Most Viewed Games.  Within the top voted games you have unreleased "hype meter," and the top rated released games (which TERA is tops on at the moment).  The most viewed games list is simply how many hits that games forum has gotten.  So, I'm not sure I'm following how one of them is how hated a game is?

Im talking about the top voted list. People arent downrating Tera, the way they downrate TOR, for example. Last I checked, its a 10 point rating system, where if you hate a game, you can give it a low score, and when enough people do that, it moves it down on the list.

Ah, I see:)  I thought you meant there were two different lists, wiyh one being most hated.  But just wait until the sandbox and/or GW2 superfans get a whif of this.  There will be a beatdown of 0's.

LOL dieing fast in subscription rates :P heck I may be dubious about a few things with this game like frogsters care package and the weird removal of things like crafting quests so people can level crafting.

However they haven't even taken the first subscriptions how on earth could the subscriptions be dieing, theres nothing to compare them with.

It is in the honeymoon phase. It happens with every MMORPG. If the honeymoon passes in a few months and the game is bad, mediocre, or average to people, it should decline closer to a 7 or 8 rating when a rounded number. Many people are accepting of issues when they first step into a recently released MMORPG, even with games that have been released in another country already like Tera.

It is called flavor of the month. I believe SW:TOR was once top as well and now it isn't even in top 5(?).

Once this initial freshness wears of the game will join SW:TOR. They are actually quite similar in the regard that both seems really good at start but have pretty lacklustre end-game but ofcourse there are lots of promises for coming soon stuff.
