Anyoen have a feeling about 70% of GW2 content will be NERFFED ? I just feel like they will do it. i mean alot of the comment seem to indicate they want people to more readily play the game and have an easier time doing it.. Maybe not but this is MY BIGGEST FEAR reguarding GW2. Because atm the super hard champions and content was some of the most fun i have had. Arenanet knows people need a challenge. I would not worry to much.

There were just as many, if not more, people commenting on the beta forums who wanted them to leave it alone because they thought it was awesome the way it was. Based on the developer comments I saw, I think they may tweak a few things here and there, but I think ArenaNet is pretty happy overall with the level of challenge and the way the systems work. I don't think there will be big nerfs...and I certainly hope their aren't. |

I got the impression they will nerf mobs where it makes sense and is appropriate due to the level the DE is requiring. So far I've only read they will nerf mobs that are overpowered in those occasions. |

There will be some re-tuning but an overall nerf? No. |

U dont need to worry about that the game will be as hard as u wish. If u have played GW u know that its not an easy game. |

I doubt there will be any nerfing in the sense that you are referring. Will they retune some content sure. Will they dumb it down and make it faceroll easy I highly doubt it. They need to maintain a high level of challenge in order to keep people interested and coming back to the pve. Check Me Out on YouTube for Guild Wars 2 Commentary, Reviews, Q&A, and More! |

dont worry, that will never happen. if you pass in official forum you will see if that ever happen people will be so angry with arenanet. some mobs/boss will be nerf (im remember a boss near charr zone ) but overall the mobs were a chalenge not frustating so dont worry about that. will not gonna happen, that and fly mounts xD |

No. After the second closed beta they made the content harder. There is no reason to believe that they will turn around and make it all easier. "Loading screens" are not "instances". |

I thought the personal story mode fights were overwhelming at times. I died in about 3 seconds flat in one fight, I just didnt have a chance. All other mobs were fine imo though. ![]() My XIVPad: |

they have talked about some monsters being to weak, some to strong but nothing that indicate that they will make it easyer. But they have said that they will look into how to balance DE's better against huge playergroups basicly turning any encounter into a faceroll of skills read how to create a succesfull mmo before posting about GW2. And read tao of ArenaNet before talking about innovation in GW2 |

Sure some things are a lot easier now in Guild Wars, mostly because people run highly optimized builds and whatnot but overall Anet have been quite good at keeping an eye on content that suddenly got a bit too easy. The Underworld have seen a lot of changes, not to kill "speedclears" but to raise the difficulty level while still making it possible for a team with mixed builds to finish the content. Some powerful PvE-skills have been changed (nerfed) big time to keep the difficultylevel up where it should be on elite content. I am sure that Anet have learned a lot from this over the years. So... Not worried at all. And should a panicsituation arise: Their client/server update system and their skillbalancing have been lightyears ahead of all the traditional MMO's for the past 7 years :-)

Originally posted by Fozzik Well in all fairness, that may be the case for a lot of aspects not everything. For example, there's been a lot of talk around various forums about how weak or strong certain classes are in PvP and if they want it to become an actual Esport, they're going to have to do a lot of class balancing for that to happen. |

They won't nerf the content directly. Instead, they'll add super-duper PVE-only skills that make all of the content easy. And boring. |

IMO, despite claims to the contrary, almost all mmo's start out challenging then later get nerfed to be easier. Much later. |

They won't nerf the game, but they may do a better job of explaining things to new players, as well as doing some very specific fine tuning of some of the hardest encounters in the level 1-15 portion of the game. I hope as well that if they do tone anything down, it won't be by much. However, I'm confident that as you progress in the game, content will be more challenging strategically and tactically. if they nerf stuff alot..ill be gone...if they do that theyll become like WoW, where mobs arent worth it since you can kill everything with autoattack anyway..i rllly hope they make sure people will need some practise to become better at killing mobs and hope theyll never try to please new people or people who are used to get everything trown in their lap |

Originally posted by Jetrpg Definitely something to keep an eye on, but given what Anet has done up until this point, I wouldn't worry too much. Anet seems to pride themselves on making challenging content. If anything, they're more likely to make some of the base content a little bit easier (I.E. starting zones / personal story), while leaving the other content difficult. Was much the same way in GW1, through every expansion. Completing the main storyline was challenging, but they made sure most could complete it, but the dungeons, and hardmodes are still very challenging. |

I doubt there will be much nerfing going on, especially not at the moment. Maybe a couple of boss fights that needed an edge down. Possibly the spawn rate in one or two tight spots. |

I would hope they keep the fights challenging. Hate easy mobs etc. |
