I selected D3 but would like to throw in with others on the Secret World. If you pre-order they are having beta weekends up to launch starting May 11th.

I would vote for GW2 but since there is no precise release date of it u should buy diablo 3 to be able to play in 9 days and get GW2 later this year !!

Given that poster's history, I figured as much too.  I voted for GW2 because I can.

I would have said D3 until a few days ago. Path of Exile makes D3 look pretty "meh" and it's only $10 to get beta access!

ontopic:  i would get legend of grimrock, fucking great game and supporting indie developers is always a plus.

do it like me. cancel GW2 preorder (didnt meet my expectation by far) and preorder D3  + The Secret World!!

oh and the ppl comparing D3 to Path Of Exile. i playxed path of exile for a whoel weekend and...

PLEAAAASE dotn kid urself. it is nothing like diablo.

the atmosphere +the graphics ,the story(yeh i cant say anythign to this cause there isnt one)

the huuuuge skilltree is only limiting the charackter instead giving him all skills to use like in D3.

the areas i walked thru were very boring to look at and no scripted event at all. some bosses i encountered werent even challenging on hardcore mode.

not a bad game  but out of competition.

I went with D3, 'cause it's the only game on that list that I'm actually even remotely interested in playing at the moment.

Its me like in general. what would you advice someone to buy, not exactly myself.

About TSW i though about including it but wasnt sure if it was on sale already or not.. thus my excuses.

Looking to the voting so far, guess most people would advice either Diablo3 or GW2.

ASsuming all of those games were released this week I'd still go with D3.  GW2 would be second.  The next would be a far distant third.

   What no Vanguard?    vanguard is a legitimate choice, but since it is not on here for mmo's prob go with either Tera or swtor, both very different swtor is a story based mmo and Tera is a PvP mmo.  Why anyone would choose GW2 is beyond me , not because it is a bad game but because who knows when it willl be out, dont really want to spend 50 or 60 bucks and play on occasional beta weekends, I would rather spend 10 and get into a continuous path of exile beta Or D3

i chose SWTOR because i believe i should not be the only one punished for wasting £30...in fact it should be mandatory that everyone has to endure this game..like me..hehe.

D3, for a simple reason its out in less then 10 days. GW2 well it will be months buy it later.

Now if you could only buy one ever i would do GW2, no contest.

Note - Voted for D3 in the poll, it just makes sense.

I would choose something that's out and actually playable.

Really though, it's tough to say without knowing what games you like.

My votes are for TERA, EVE, D3, since those are the games I'll be playing actively for the forseeable future :)

Well the OP didn't specific as to whether 'buy now - play now' was a requirement or not. I elected to go with GW2 with the assumption that' buy now -play in the near future' was an option.

GW2 is a good game. Enjoyed it a lot. Some of the rest were/are enjoyable too but GW2 is the first in a long time where I feel the 'desire' for a new game to come out and the need to explore every little nook and cranny. That alone makes me wish we had a release date specified.
