Since I have been researching the game since announcement I knew what I was getting into. The only thing , and I mean the only thing that I didnt like was the crybabies. Players crying about their armor being broken and not knowing where to go. Maybe game developers should start making manuals again lest players read them. Seriously though the MMO community mostly comprises itself of babies that need their hand held.
This game is great and a good change of pace. The combat is easy to learn and even easier to master if you like action combat. This is not a game where you trade blows. The graphics at lowest settings are like GW1 graphics and that is cool. Even the combat had a GW1 feel to it since you can choose a build before a battle to suit the enemy.

100% True. Game is awsome - specially graphics. You can see how much work they put into it. I don't understand why people constantly arguing and crying about every single aspect.

Game is definately harder than expected and thats a very GOOD thing. Also, for newbies out there that don't where to go: use scouts. Or just run around like in skyrim and do stuff. Also there's classic questing called personal story.

The game was somewhat challenging... especially in some areas. I remember failing several events and saying to myself... "I failed?... Awesome!" I also really liked the fact that if you did die... if you waited long enough usually someone would spot you on their map and come over to rez you up... and then you would end up just running off with them and doing whatever it was they where dolng.... damn this weekend was fun! "Don't mistake a fun game for a good game... Checkers is fun to play but its not exactly the highest point of gaming design... and definatly not worth $60 plus $15 a month" |

This game at the moment isn't for me. Am I going to whine and complain about it? Nope. Just hope it gets better with time. I'll stick with D3 for the time being for my f2p action.

Originally posted by Theonenoni Agree. Whatever happened to exploration? Running around the map with friends, exploring new places (and there's tons to explore in GW2), fighting mobs, doing stuff? Sad how for most people playing a game equals to following arrows and expecting mobs to just stand around at the tip of the arrow with a huge neon sign "Quest objective, kill me". As far as exploration in GW2, I wish they would take out the little "unexplored" markers. Don't tell me where unexplored things are! Let me explore them. Great game, though, had an awesome weekend, can't wait for the next Beta and the final! |

Loved every bit of beta. I was so glad it was challenging and not holding you by the hand every step of the way.
