The thing that annoys me the most is that when you watch the videos of the classes. They look amazing.

When you play them, they look nothing like the videos. Its a blatant lie and borders on false advertisement.

Unless you're a keyboard turner with heavy artritis in the hands and carpal tunnel syndrome, playing looks exactly like on the gameplay videos. I extensively played both Warrior and Guardian so far, and I'm absolutely not decieved of my in game experience compared to what was promised and advertised in videos.

I don't need to precise that I totally disagree with you, of course.

I'm confused, you sound like someone who has actually not yet played the beta.

OP the game is clearly not for you and the content on your OP just killed the first sentence which sounds like you threw it in there. You can move on, find a game you like and have fun. I played City of Heroes and I cant see how you say GW2 its like CoH. CoH is a good game, but you just dont compare 2 too different games. GW2 graphics are awesome and the art style with painting effects all over is just lovely and really well done. The entire game feels like art instead of a game. Just lovely.

Have fun finding the game you like. If you want more realism and less art then play Age of Conan.

The only thing that pisses me off about it is the $50 price tag on a game that comes fresh with a cash shop.

If it was $20 i would have bought it right away, now ill be waiting until the price drops, if i get it at all.

sounds like he also might need some upgrades on his pc if he see the graphics as cartoons , and the reason why the claases lokk amazing on video and not on your screen is because those ppl know how to play and use the classes and you dont :-)

so basically you you stating you not in the beta and tht u neevr seen the  cash shop for your self , and would know its full of town outfits tht cannot be used in battle, xp boost , dyes etc ,  its nothing major

I too got rezzed by a random stranger or two.  I tried to rez a few people myself but a veteran pig snuck up behind me and owned my ass without even offering any Vaseline.  Two hits before I knew what hit me.  Then he stalked me all around that area.  I finally said the hell with it and let them rez at a waypoint.  lol   It was pretty exciting for a minute, I tell ya.

That's pretty much what happens on these boards lately.

The new game will be The Secret World (and probably Diablo 3 to a lesser degree).  Both will be out by the end of June, so they're next up to bat.

I dont care whats in the cash shop, the fact that it has one at all is why im not willing to pay full price for it. Normally i wouldnt pay a sinlge penny for a game with a cash shop but this one actually looks decent.

Every race has its own starting area (as far as I know.. I haven't seen the Sylvari starting area yet).  With the inclusion of the ability to change your story with each character, there's even more variety.  A far cry from Aion's boring Poeta.

Trust me, I KNOW how you feel.  It's one of the most appealing facts about WoW to me that each race has it's own starting area.  It does a lot to break up monotony.

Do you honestly believe this games PVP will be any different from WoW, beyond the occasional dodges (that won't matter in the long run) and the "equal pvp" system they have. I know you out of most posters on this forum do not fall into the hype of games Loke (from previous engagements). You're content with this crap game or not?

Yes, I was in it from the moment the beta began. The first wave, and literally quit that crap so quick and have yet to play since. This game was completely overhyped. At least in my opinion that is, I do not discourage anyone from fan boying this game up or wanting to marry it... I just am realistic. At best it's a 6/10 stars tbh. Nothing new, nothing special.
