I've only had the chance to play for a couple hours. I'll get more time in tonight. So far, it feels like a very well made action game. |

I think the combat is deceptively deep which is a good sign. The feel/animations remind me of a console button masher which is unfortunate because the reality is there is a lot of depth. But the execution feels like I'm playing Disney's Toontown. Still, if you can get into it, it probably will be the flagship MMO esport. |

Originally posted by DannyGlover From the live feeds I've seen I see a lot of people playing around other people but not really with other people. When you play again could you feedback here how grouping and playing with others felt? Can someone go about solo and then join a group dynamically? Do people form goals or objectives on the fly? Do people mostly just go around killing mobs until they get the dynamic event message? |

I want an mmorpg where pvp matters, my enemies are not my race or class, and community matters. |

Red Flag in my opinion.

I would add in the exploration, with all those little stuff that might not mean much by their own, but accumulated make exploration very nice, the world really feel more alive than in all the computer rpg i played. I have great fun playing the game since they fixed their login server, euro server are like totally overloaded though, the experience is a lot better in the us servers (i transferred there because of a bugged portal and it was really a lot better, i'm going back in a us if i can). I like the game very much, and its working very smoothly even though i have only a duo core (high end though) with a 560 gtx, even in WvW. The game is really nice, and i'm in love with my character (female human :p). Thief gameplay is really nice, especially like the weapon swapping. I'm even more pumped now that before. I need a new mouse with crap load of thumb buttons lol. Ye best game since a very very long time for me.
PS grouping in this game, man i wish grouping was always that fun in any mmo i played. Sorry i had to edit only for that comment, grouping without all those hardcoded mechanism is really nice. |

I'm very social in mmos. I'm always running around, commenting on the weather, doing various /e, lots of small talk in character etc. That said, lot of folks seem to be more into the scenery than the people atm. You can't blame em. The ambiance is really nice and it definitely has that new shiny mmo smell. I haven't had any real player interaction though besides my attempts at starting up some rp during events. This is a fast paced game, which makes it a little tough to do so. Most people wandering around are not looking for conversation and if/when I did chat up some people, it wasn't more than about 10 seconds before the screens pops up with a new event and we're off doing our rotations. |

I agree with this. The only thing I would add is that I've literally wandered way off the beaten path with a couple of random PuG event players, and it was really fun.
