DUring the first log in at about 3 or 3:30 i was doing the charr shaman event, horrible lag. But about an hour ago i did a similar event more people and it went through great, people just speeding through. I think they are getting use to it the lag.

no need for hating on other games or me just because the textures are blurry and not sharp. who are u trying to fool anyways? if u like the game then thats fine if not then not. what are u trying to proove?

The FPS was okay for me. Biggest issue was the network lag.

3930k@4Ghz. 7970 CF (not running in CF mode for GW2 of course) Everything at max settings. 2560x1600 resolution. Averaging 40-50fps. However if there are a million people on the screen and everyones popping their abilities....10-15fps. |

I played 3 characters but only got to level 3. I never got a chance to get into pvp. Can't log in now so.... After my first play session I was about to comment on how smoothe the beta has been given so many players. I logged into devlores twitch stream and saw the horrible lag he was getting. Then came here and saw the lag threads. I've been kinda lucky, I guess. I was about to play for a couple hours and never hit any bad lag. of course, I was always playing on the overflow server so that probably had something to do with it. But nice game overall...problems will get fixed by the time the game comes out. |

I have no problem admitting the lag is obnoxious, but I also love the gameplay, so I'll be patient. People will only see improvement from here on out.
no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |
