Their servers are unstable as heck right now, the load is too heavy for them right now. Tomorrow should be better, assuming they are testing how much hardware they need for each server. I can however say that it's equally unstable across most, if not all, servers. Started on Istan, one of the heaviest populated, and I moved on to Riverside, one of the lightest. Both have extreme lagg and random dc's.

So I'm starting to gather that most of the people who pre-purchased for the open beta access thought they were pre-purchsing for a closed beta access.
I feel the urge to tell you all that you're participating in a stress test. All you do in a stress test is log in and drop out. You don't actually play with any quality of experience. The servers aren't broken, they're inundated. Working as intended at this stage. |

MMORPGs are no longer about the mass multi-user anymore *sadly* |

Well , server buckling down like this - on closed beta - where they know exactly how many people will play ... Its pretty disappointing.
Didnt expect that. |

Thats a terrible start. i still keep getting network error One more reason for me to trust only blizzard games from now on. All other companies are bad fail trolls that trying to steal our money. I hope they vanish from earth for the good of gaming. |

I'm always surprised that even in this time and age, some people still don't understand the meaning of the word "beta".

There was a time when Betas were bug-infested, and instead of playing the game we would spend most of our time filling out bug reports while trying to carry on thru the game. I loved it. Now Beta just means "demo" and is more of a marketing scheme. |
