Neverwinter fans will be happy to hear that preordering Torchlight II will also score them a closed beta key for the game. The closed beta for Neverwinter is expected to kick off later in 2012. Preorder Torchlight II to secure your Neverwinter beta key!

Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |

beta test access for free to play games... whoop-e-dooo.... Can't believe they are using that as a sales incentive for TL2 :P |

O-HO! Crafty bastards, PWE are. I'll still stick with Steam or go directly through Runic anyway. I've got enough on my plate as it is. |

I don''t have to know how to make a better game, I only need to know where the "CANCEL" button is! |

I'm going to end up buying at least two copies at release, no doubt about it. Guess I'll go ahead and pay for one now to get the beta access. Could one potentially pre-order Torchlight 2, get their beta key and cancel Torchlight 2 pre-order? :p |

Whatever you do, do NOT speak ill of Asheron's Call 2... |

Man, remember when companies wanted to offer beta test invitations, to you know, TEST the games? Now it is just, "Pay us for this...". Not a fan...
Maybe I am old and grumpy, but have you SEEN that Guild Wars 2 login screen!?!? That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming! |

Torchlight II looks like a pretty decent game. It might not be the best move to so closely associate with Cryptic and their rather dubious reputation.

So I need to preorder it from them not steam? That's so not happening. Every game I can, I get on steam!

Ahh the big battle of the preorder gifts: Beta key from Perfect World, or a free copy of Torchlight 1 from Steam which is giftable if you already have it

Great... now the companies are sinking to a lower state by forcing people to pay other products to get Beta access? What ever happened to giving Beta keys out to quality testers? Whats next, $5, $10 closed Beta access keys? I've been following NW closely ever since it was announce but this is pathetic. |
