The Arena.Net blog has been updated with new information for participants in this weekend's first beta event. Information includes both the EU and NA server lists and requirements for transfer to servers outside of a player's purchase zone.

Do I get this right: after creating ONE char on ONE server, I can never make another char on another server without paying? WTF? Holy Trinity who art in our MMORPGs! Blessed be thy speccs, as in WOW so in all MMOs! Our daily loot grant us, and forgive us our noobness, as we forgive the noobs! And do not lead us to disconnects, But deliver us from mediocrity, For thine is the specialization and the teamwork and the endgame, Until cancellation, Amen! |

Jade Sea for me probably =] You can move between servers for free. In pvE. You can only WvW with your home world. |

Again, thinking outside the box(at least I don't know of another game that lets you do this). You can play on any server, with the exception of WvW, with the "guesting" feature.

The one thing I'm wondering is... this is beta and as such, these characters will be wiped and therefore, our choice of server on the 27th should not lock us in to what server we have to call home at launch. So even theough I'm going Maguuma right now, when the game launches I will likely be on whatever server will be considered the official/unofficial RP server.  Why do I write, create, fantasize, dream and daydream about other worlds? Because I hate what humanity does with this one. BOYCOTTING EA / ORIGIN going forward. |

i must agree with this. we should of just had ONE server for ALL of the mmorpg.com community as we will all be logged in at different hours - it would of been nice to have a full server at all times! or are we planning a W v W v W mmorpg event-lol! |

It would be awesome if all the guildies rolled a Char race and WvW. Imagine 40 Char toons rampaging at the castle door. Would make a nice Youtube Video lol. Pardon my English as it is not my 1st language :) |
