Hello my fellow Guild Wars 2 fans!
I have been part of the gaming community for as long as I can remember and have been following the Guild Wars 2 scene since it was announced. And now for the first time, we as a community and others, will be finally playing the game next weekend. And just like everyone else, I will be sharing my thoughts and impressions with you all.
For those of you who are into the hardcore gaming scene, You know of a fellow gamer by the name of Towelliee. He's one of the most watched MMORPG players on Twitch thus far. But he's been looking for another charity event to raise money for. Now that a GW2 beta has been offically announce, Towellie along with other streamers including myself, will be conducting a 48 hour livestream April 27th to the 29th for the first BWE of Guild Wars 2.
In the past, Towelliee has conducted two other charity events in the past. His first was for Child's Play Charity, in which he raised $1300 with about 600 to a 1,000 viewers. His second was for the National Breast Cancer Charity which pulled in about $2600 with about 1400 to 1800 viewers. With two successful charities under his belt, Towelliee is going for a third successful charity and this is where you can help.
Since these charity events, Towelliee's stream has grown quite well pulling in well over 2,000 viewers on a regular basis. With the audience constantly growing, Towelliee is asking for you help this weekend for this awesome event. We are aiming for a higher goal and a higher audience view. We are wanting to provide you guys witht the best experience and commentary that we can provide.
PLEASE NOTE: Both my stream and Towelliee's stream will have a button just for the charity, So there isn't any confustion
The schedule is as follows:
