First of all this is the beta version and NOT a demo as someone else is claiming. The fact that people who downloaded the whole game with their pre purchase still have to download the beta client and files should attest to that.
Second, this is a stress test, and if WoW's beta stress tests are any indiacation, you can expect minor lag at best and constant DC's at worst depending on where in the world you are. This is more due to the fact that everyone and their uncle will be on this (even those who "don't care" since they have to let us know why they don't care).
Looking foward to seeing all the "ZOMG THE GAME IS SO LAGGY!!1one" threads here in the next few days. You had lag during a stress test? Who woulda thought! (-.-)"
And lastly, if you're stuck at 10% in your install, close the bnet and launcher process in your task manager. Restart the launcher in admin mode and it should install fine.

but but.... I can't play diablo 3 open beta and tera's beta at the same time... well maybe... I will not play a game with a cash shop ever again. A dev job should be to make the game better not make me pay so it sucks less. |

To be honest Ill probably play the Diablo beta over Tera. Already played the Tera one a few weeks ago. Im looking to see if this will be any better. The forums all say D3 has been dumbed down for the masses much like WoW. If so, I probably wont be buying it. Sidenote: Has anyone noticed the masses are incredibly dumb now? Whats this world coming to? |

awesome info, and the beta is only around 3gb to download. I wanted to try TERA this weekend also but it's 24gb.... anyways thanks again for the heads up. |
