The TERA site has been updated with information for players to show how the team is being responsive to the wishes of its community. In today's post, Improved Early Play, devs lay out how they are making those first baby steps into TERA a more fulfilling experience.

• Playable Prologue: You become part of a beach landing gone awry. Can you save your allies and prevent a military disaster?
• Badder Bosses: New tactics and deadlier attacks from early-level foes. You'll earn those levels.
• Quest Variety: Dozens of new quests that take TERA far beyond repetitive "hunt," "gather," and "deliver" tasks, and reveal the world's rich history and cultures.

Nice to see they are trying to switch it up a bit. Can't wait until tomorrow night!

I might have to take another look and make a final decision on it at the moment I'm very much in the no camp.

I think what's most important here is that they are actually listening to the players and responding. The new beginning sounds better then the old one.

Very nice to see how this company listens to there players and makes improvments based on that. Never seen a company do it like this before.

I might give it a few mins, going to be busy playing the Phantasy Star Online 2 closed beta.

i am not sure what to think about a game that has to improve there early play before the game has launched, on one hand it does show they are listening to there player base, on the other hand it shows a lack of quality standards,i will probably not be trying this game till after TSW and GW2, i may even try PSO2 before i try this one

Open beta is on the 20th, give it a shot, what do you have to lose?

I mean its free to try the open beta, and there is not much else going on right now...   I mean PSO2 looks decent enough I guess but I'm sad they don't have a multi platform at release game...   TSW isn't in open beta right now and neither is GW2 you'd have to buy it to try it.

Seems like giving it a try can't hurt ya!

QA Standards are fine, the game is a working title in Korea and they're adapting it to western market. What we've seen in closed beta worked just fine with minimal bugs but they obviously know who their audience is over here and are spicing it up a bit, plus it generates some more interest to know that yes, they're flexible and listen to their users. As much as i'm biased because I do enjoy this game a lot, it's pretty amazing that they were able to release all this new stuff so quickly, considering Mr.HugeCompanyBioware taking forever to release 1.2

trying it this weekend, any particular server at this point, or is that irrelevent?

This was the X-factor for me.  I just pre-ordered and can't wait to play tomorrow!

Without trying the changes first? Or did you try it and were waiting for something more? I still would've waited after the OB had I been you, so forgive me if I'm out of line.

tera is fk amazing i cant wait, nice visual ....this game make gw2 looks like a megadrive video game..
