The entire newbie death knight, goblin and worgen areas after their first playthrough. Would probably feel the same about the Panda expansion newbie ground too. |

The worst quest I ever seen ( i been playing since M59) is EQ2s book quests where some animals and insects have eaten a book. You kill 10 of each creature and the tenth have a page inside them (gaory), you kill a whole bunch of deer, bettles and i dunno what and then you put it together into a book. I mean there have been many dumb quests during the year but this take the retard cake. |

This was exactly my experience with the game. I read all the positive posts from people about how Tera was different and how it's gonna be great blah blah but in the end, to me at least, the only thing different about Tera is the combat. The rest is the same, old tired formula we've had for 10+ years, level level level, end game is gear and rep grind and the quests were like you said, kill x guys, now kill them again only this time bring me their branches, now go kill 6 deer, blah blah blah. IMO Tera is doomed before it even launches. In comparison, I've read tons about GW2, seen a lot of videos of GW2, and I believe it will be a huge success and that people like us, tired of the gear grind MMO, will forget all other MMOs in favor of GW2. |

Originally posted by Raekon I don't know how I made it to level 10 in that game after those crappy quests. Byu the way, all the time u got to compete with other people to kill these trees. It was a great way for Tera to come out and say, hey we do one thing different ,deal with it, and kill those trees. |

questgiver in danger with 5000000000000000 hitpoints asks me who have 100 hp to help him to kill monkeys and collect their eyeballs,i kill one and dont get eyeball because it didnt drop ? it didnt have eyes ? or weapons or teeths or heart or legs etc. (edit)and im sure i saw that monkey wielding a weapon, maybe it exploded. |

Originally posted by dontadow Its weird, but im pretty sure there was some quest in Feralas (WoW) where i had to kill Yetis and collect their furs(of course bad droprate??) or something and skinners were able to use their gathering skills on bodies and get quest items ,might be that i remember wrong. |

1 in 200 drop rate anything. Happy to kill 10 of X. Very unhappy when you've killed more than a thousand, and still no drop. For you kids who've never heard real griping, this type of quest probably only still exists in the most primitive of Grinders. Even the grinders figured out that everyone hates the binomial probability game, eventually. "1 in 200 drop means it's a sure thing after I've butchered 200, right?" Bzzzzt! Sorry Little Johnny, probability just doesn't work like that, keep grinding! |

I'm posting to agree about the slow escort quests. Here we are trying to save this NPC's life, and they are walking as slowly and roundabout as possible. I always assumed they were a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I'd be happy to never see one again. |

Originally posted by kaco hee i remember when there was some unique mobs in Anarchy Online with very unique spawn times and items they could drop was like 0.0001 chance ,and i tried all that kind of tricks ,i was thinking just like you say "if i only use these skills if i bash it to death with my bare hands then item wont break up or if i poison it with my dots ,then item wont break up and i will get it "and all that kind of stuff, but it never worked.

Originally posted by GeezerGamer I tried every dang thing,I made aggro tests even,if monkey aggroes from 5 meters away,he must have bad eyesight therefore his eyes cant be pristine and if monkey with sword aggroed from 20 meters away then theres good chance that he had pristine eyeballs i thought, but no,did not drop and i did not break his eyes eiher because i used water spells, maybe he just had amazing hearing skills, cant never know.
