All we know is this year. All dates listed on any other site, unless otherwise confirmed through the official GW2 website, or arenanet blog, are considered placeholder dates. |

Almost certainly won't be released in June. December is quite likely for obvious reasons. MMORPG genre is dead. Long live MMOCS (Massively Multiplayer Online Cash Shop). |

I really doubt December. June is more likely then December, though i'd think more like July to September. I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high |

Heh, PR aside it's not about how "ready" it is. It's business. Besides, in beta footage all cutscenes, for example, clearly show "work in progress" notices. And beta was about lower-level content which is usually finished first. It's safe to assume that ANet will be quite busy in the coming months. MMORPG genre is dead. That is why I decided to buy TERA and have fun 'till GW2 comes out, I am just sick of this waiting, and the "it comes out 2012" doesn't please me enough. |

I am wondering why Anet is already selling the game without a release date. Did NCSoft say "no more money" or did Anet have an actual release date, but then let´s say Diablo´s release date collided with GW2´s? Speculations, speculations. ;) |

people still look at online retailers for release dates? you guys been under a rock for the past 15 years? LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity. |

All the signs point to June this year. With the world ending December, there's no way they get to the projected 3+million copies sold if they wait til September. |
