I have narrowed it down to these races below, mostly due to the animations. I don't care about hitbox size or racials so that only leaves end game gear. From the links below, which ones do you like the best. It's all a matter of preference. I had preordered and played a few betas, I made a female castanic. Just the game itself wasn't thrilling IMO, but the character was awesome. CURRENTLY PLAYING |GW2| |

Personally I'd go with the human male...the other races males are a bit effeminate looking for my style. Plus (and I know you said it doesn't matter) they have nice racial abilities for PvP. |

I echo Drake's sentiment, if all things are equal the defensive racial of the humans will be useful for PvP.
Plus, it's been your avatar for so long it'd be a shame to change it now hehe Just not worth my time anymore. |

high elf females probably have the best looking leather. there animations are awesome too for warriors. thogh im biased, thats my warrior choice  |

i like the Male Elf. they look very cool. and no i don't think they look femenine at all. if you think high elfs look femenine, you would think the majority of men around the early 60th, 70th were femenine too. since most men around that time were more natural looking, lean, they had long hair. and wore tight pants. and muscles are very overated. most girls don't find bodybuilders attractive!p |

I couldn't do swimming. Just not a natural swimmer, I guess. I get my workouts from 12 miles a week of HIIT on the treadmill and 4 days of lifting. This is the only reason I can play MMOs and not feel like a lazy bum. Haha. Anyway, back to the topic, oddly enough, I tend to like to play the goofy looking races in most MMOs for amusement. I was a gnome warrior tank in WoW, and I'd probably play a Popori when I roll a warrior. Nothing more awesome than a duel-wielding Furry of Death.

the high elves in Tera fit perfectly the idea i have of elfs in general. both males and females, well females got way too much chest!p so they surely make me envious!p lol but when i see a male high elf, i can easy picture a legolas, or a drizzt. not all of the face presets for male elf look youthful, child like. they reflect agility, grace, and elegance. human males, fit perfectly the warrior, tank stereotype perfectly well. their armor sets, do that as well. Amans look cool in basically every armor set. but same as the humans, i see them more fitting more for the warrior, tanking roles.

The only races that I find aesthetically tolerable are the Aman and male Humans. The other races are painfully pervy IMO. I'm no prude, but some of that shit is just so blatantly aimed at horny men that it's sad. I hate to open a can of worms, but Elins... really? I feel like I should name my male human Chris Hansen and make a guild called Why Don't You Have a Seat. All of the gear looks awesome on male humans though. I know you said you don't care about racials, but on top of looking like total BAMFs in every armor type, they do have amazing racials.
edit: Actually the HE Male stuff looks pretty decent as well. |

Tera is a high Fantasy based world. so realism woulden't make much sense. if they wanted to make a more realistic medieval dark ages world, i assure you , every female character would be dressed like nuns, and their playable classes, would be chef, baker, or housewife. Elins are the only race in the game, i would never consider playing. i managed to make a decent one once i was testing the character creation though. most of them tend to look like cute little dolls. with creepy glossy eyes. |

End game armor for Elf male does look good but the problem is the lower tier'd stuff looks like crap....god those boots.
