So i am kinda of curious, i am assuming that ANet has sold quite a few pre-purchases.

Well since all of those pre-purchases have access to the BWEs (not including this weekend) i fear that unless they release the client to DL days in advance most of us will be DLing it for a large portion of the BWE. Heaven forbid they require completely new client DLS for subsequent BWEs. 

So i have looked and looked but i have not been able to get any information pertaining to this, maybe i missed it and one of you have the information i seek ?

Nope they will send you the client when there is a beta weekend , im still waitinf for my client to come so just sit and wait.

Nowadays with the game launchers they use, downloading is pretty easy and fast.

If you have a slow computer, just start your download when you go to bed. Remember to turn off your monitor though.

Sorry, this is kind of grey to me, just not sure if i am reading it wrong or its intentionally vague in the tweet.

The beta client might be smaller though, there was still plenty of zones that wasn't in the game the last time so it is not unlikely that it will be around 18 gigs the first beta and then mor will be patched in.

I got a leaked beta downloader from the first CBT around 2-3 weeks ago. It's 11,5gb. I dunno if it'll be patched anyways. The game menu is awesome. :DDD

Most likely it'll be downloaded only for the betas. From what I've read, seems that once you pre-purchased you have to download the client for the betas, then download (or patch) the final client for the 3 days headstart when it's released, and you have (if in the US or got a CE) 5 days to go pick up your box and apply the serial to continue playing.
