3.0 hit, prob a good batch of new players joining up, free2play means nothing to lose.

13 gig download will take another 2 hours.

I was thinking about it, but the market is so flooded with other stuff I want to play, I don't have time time.

Heck, I havn't been able to get into F2P Lineage2 for more than 20min, and that went F2P a couple months ago.

 Me and the wife planned on it. As long as the F2P model doesn't feel overly restrictive I can see us getting some fun out of it until GW2 launches. We liked it well enough when we played it about a year and a half ago but didn't think it was worth $30 a month between the two of us. She also really likes the things they added in 3.0 so I'd say it's definately worth a go. Worst case scenario, you don't like it and you delete it.

I'm currently downloading as well and will play while I wait for TERA to launch!! If its really F2P and with the update of 3.0, I don't see why I shouldn't check it out again.

Only lvl 13 - but so far having fun. The combat seems quicker which is a huge plus. To be fair though, my girlfriend and I are rolling a combo where she's a Gladiator and I'm a Chanter, which is apparently a beast combo (as we are  discovering). WE shall see how long the enjoyment lasts. If it lasts til 5-15, I am happy.

Despite Aion being a bit grindy, its still a fun game, I'm back in and loving it. Tons of people around.

The only reason I left Aion few months after release, was the damn gold farmers. I swear the farmers were so bad, you couldnt even finish a quest, I would move to far away areas, and still there were farmers.

Lets hope they got that under control.

I will be starting to play today.

Its a terrible game, Lineage 2 is much more fun to play :X

Me and my wife are about to try AIon for the first time, im personally looking forward to trying it :)

tellme about it...i just got a beta key for tera and at the same time i just finished updating aion. I liked aion was a great game...shud hold me out till D3...

Personally i thought Lineage 2 was a horrible game...the point n click system to me was crap...worst mmo on my list....

I played beta and at launch but then left.  I never deleted it from steam so I updated and was pleasently suprised to play my old characters for free.

Honestly it's just a filler for the time being, I dont plan on doing much and it still seems pretty grindy in that Korean way.

You cant lose with free though.

Gonna try it out. Doesn't seem too good though.
