Tera isn't going to bring down wow! But a game doesn't have to, to be fun for it's fans. People just need to get over the fact that 200-500k players is not an OMG FAIL GAME!! /quit In a lot of ways it's better for a game to be somewhat forgotton. It keeps the trolls away. They tend to like playing to a bigger audience. |

every beta i played was packed with people. so far everyone i ask seems to likes it. there is a huge community of Spaniards, all getting ready to play once the game gets released. |

No. They game has pleanty of fans. It'll be somewhat of a niche game (from what I've seen), but it'll have a strong number of people playing it. - Basically, I don't think you'll be scrolling through the server list, but out of the servers available they'll have a healthy population for a lil while. |

As Tera EU is not region locked compare to Tera NA, i expect it to be more populated than NA version. SEA population will be making their way into Tera EU, but the latency is killing this game for me |

Originally posted by DamonVile 250k players would be a HUGE success for TERA. Considering NA Tera is launching with only 10 servers i guess the actual numbers will be smaller. |

Originally posted by otacu the number of servers mean nothing. since they have a capacity to host alot of people in. i think is smart to keep the amount of servers low, so later on , you avoid having to merge, or having to wait for server transfers due to low populations. |

The game is probably not going to get the same amount of numbers as Guild Wars 2 or SWTOR, but I highly doubt that the game will fail in Europe, nor will it fail here in NA. I know it's not the game for everyone, but those who like it, loves the game. And also the developers and support staff owns, I actually have a genuine desire to support them. The game is not even out yet, and yet the developers have reworked some dungeons, added additional content to the game, like new stories, and doesn’t seem like they are going to stop anytime soon. I and most of my close friends have bought yearly subs to the game, and happy about it :P. Plus, since the game doesn't have much hype, the fear of getting disappointed is minimalized.

The game needs more advertising. No one knows about it outside people who visit gaming forums like this one. |

Originally posted by DamonVile Fail game is a fail game, subs. is not a good indicator for this. TERA need to get some proper end-game going, preferably with the political system and PvP involved. If not it will suffer the same fate as in Korea where people played it for 1-2 months and then left because there was nothing fun left to do. |

I decided not to buy in the end, it was a bit of a coin toss. If En Masse were running things I'd have probablly gone the other way. Frogster was definately a tick in he against column. |

Its not going to have the numbers that wow does but its a different type of game really. It will have a decent population and wont die any time soon.. |
