Originally posted by Tardcore I was thinking the same thing. Who is awesome enough to carry half a dozen weapons around all the time? Probably fun for a game experience though :D Noone isn't a word; It's "no one". On a side note, you can guess where the word "none" came from. |

Originally posted by aesperus I will be so overpowered with the unfair cash shop advantages that I will actually be able to leave the Mists, once I'm done there, and run amock in the PvE zones, demolishing all in my path, players and NPCs alike.

Originally posted by Charlizzard Borderline maybe. But it's still a legit concern for some. To me, I want to play it for the fun of it. I'm not expecting my next long term MMO, but I'll get my money out o it. But you also have to admit, there are some posters who can't even take anything slightly negative towards GW2 without going into Don Quixote mode. If the conversation turned "Tit-for-Tat", and I've stopped posting, Consider it your win. |

Originally posted by GeezerGamer Yes yes of course there are, I even made reference to that in my comment. Happens on both sides. It can be hard when you read something that is just plain untrue (and I don't mean opinion, I mean something that is blatantly false given what we know about the game to date) and not react, and trolls feed on this. Maybe the hype created the bashing, maybe the hype is in response to it, who knows. I suppose my biggest concern for GW2 is that people have fantasies about what it will be or should be, and that folks aren't really looking at what it is, faults and all. At any rate, see you in WvW! "Loading screens" are not "instances". |

Personally I intend to just use environment (e.g. bolders). Actually I might just limit that to fish. Can you dual wield halibut? If you want to play a gimp play a gimp. (though I bet the gimp mask is a cash shop item). |

Originally posted by nikki9786 GW2 was created for competitive pvp, gw2 inst for lalala pvpers, it may seem like at the start but things will get really nasty, in weekly structured pvp, montly/anual also. We finally have an mmo that alows you to be great with your char as group and stand out as solo, all the classes have more skills then in any mmo, and you wont ever loose because of gear only because you or your friends are weak, and if so you need to blame yourself and become stronger no other way, again this game wont be for lalala pvpers. |

Originally posted by nikki9786 I'm guessing you never played an Agent in Swtor. I literally had all 4 bars fillled with skills, and utilized almost all of them. I love the ease of control with less skills, because i can focus more on strategy and combos. |

in WvWvW you can get away with it, using same weapon all the time, just going from melee to range weapon, in structured pvp in the really competitive tournaments you better use you class to max or you are just using space that could be better used by a rock. I really hope there are huge guild alliances and really competitive, because our guild is ready, our alliance is ready and structured for WvWvW. |

No, don't lock the thread. The person is trying to find out if the game suits their style of play. If it doesn't, it's best they find out now instead of being another whiner in 6 months because the game didn't measure up to their standards. no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |

I agree. After all the the threads going on about the cash shop, and P2W, and the community making them not want to play, its actually refreshing to see someone post a legitimate issue they have towards GW2 and I welcome it.
There's nothing wrong with the way the OP is viewing it. I dont share that sentiment at all, but its valid. Wish if people were going to dump on GW2 they'd come up with legitimate reasons too, and the OP has as far as he is concerned and I have to applaud it. About time someone not thrilled about GW2 made some kind of real sense. |

Originally posted by Corehaven That's exactly what I was thinking. A lot of complaints in the past month about GW2 have been misinformed or just plain aggressive towards fans of the game, and I had begun to think this was another one of those threads, but personal preference in combat style is one of the things you should be concerned about if you're playing a game based on kicking the crap out of virtual enemies. no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |

Who said innovation had to be a positive thing? Kinect is in my opinion one of the worst technological consoles invented yet its still considered an innovation. The weapon swapping is innovation because its different and new |
