No lie, but only the slightest exaggeration. :)

In this case, it's called spin because the dog will chase it's own tail in a tight circle rather than provide a direct response. Just seems so completely unnecassary. I still pre-purchased a copy of the game though, with a second pre-purchase on hold until they tell us how many character slots we get with the purchase.

PS: The correct answer would have been "later this month, be we aren't sure yet which weekend". I guess even admiting it could be the next to the last weekend somehow would be bad, in case they instead have it on the last weekend. They are so worried that people will think "oh noes, it was delayed", that they can't even talk about the possibility that it could be a weekend in April other than the last weekend in April.

hmm... in my confirmation email (with serial codes and info), there was no direct link to register the account. Should I be worried?

Ya, the site is giving me all kinds of problems.

Does anyone know the number to their tech support, so I can talk to an actual person. By the time I get an answer back via email, most of this stuff is going to be sold out.

im still doubting to buy a standard copy or digital deluxe:(

do i want to spend 20 euros (75 euro total) on an elite skill.....

Did you try the forgot password email link and then put in your email address to see it was right too?

I also just preordered Diablo 3, I cant believe its coming 5/15!  :-o  I didn't realize it was so soon.

I am looking forward to GW2 more but I do always try out blizzard games since my brother is obsessed with them and my girlfriend has a hard time with games that don't have a fixed camera angle so she'll probably prefer D3.

Yeah I actually opened GW1 up and logged in because I wasn't too sure about the email/password.  The forgot password link on the GW2 website just tells me my email address doesnt exist.

No idea, I've been trying to find a number to their support team, and I haven't been able to find one. I don't mind being on hold, but I don't think I'll be able to buy this game if I cannot talk to an actual person soon.

Finally worked. I swear I tried registering a new account at least 50 times before it went through, but when it happened it happened smoothly. Walked right on in =)

Not worth it imo, the game has a cash shop so no item will be exclusive at this point... and all the other itens are 1 time use only.

Thanks... I was afraid of that.

Their support seems to be limited to email only (meaning the chances of a quick resolution will be slim this time of night). I'll have to check one of the other sites I suppose.

That is a great idea...  I just tried it, and I was able to log in to NCSoft and see that the master account is using that same email address.  Further, theres a function on your master account to add serial numbers for games.  I tried to add my GW2 serial number and it said that it is invalid.

I think I will just wait and see what happens I am not -that- obsessed with getting the first beta weekend to work anyways.
