Im done with this game. They wont get my sub money again, ArenaNet will :) It takes Blizzard 7 years to figure out what people want? I wont pay for that kind of customer responsiveness. 5 Things to hate about MoP(in no order): 1. Pandas 2. Pokemon 3. Farmville 4. Talent system 5. "improving" LFR to make it spand across other systems...what a fail system it already has become.

Agreed. I wouldnt pay 15$ a month to manage a farm, or play pokemon. I can do that stuff for free on facebook. Mark Zuckerberg doesnt want my money, I sure as hell wont give it to Blizzard. |

The more you hype an upcoming game in your mind, the more it will fail to meet your expectations. |

Originally posted by solarine Okay then how about... I find anthromorphized panda people an odd direction for the game's lore, and additionally find the pokemon battle mechanic as entirely unappealing. Those are the two main selling points of the expansion, yet myself along with many others simply aren't impressed at all by it. I played WoW for over six years, and did enjoy my time in the game, but I simply have no interest in coming back if this is the direction they're shoving the game in. |

Me, I never liked pokemon. I was 12 when it hit the US and thought it was the most retarded shit. All my friends loved it and I just groaned and ignored it. Power Rangers, that was my thing. Did you know Trini died in a car wreck years ago? I heard a few years ago that they'd done an episode where they got every actor who played a red ranger (except Jason I think :/). I totally searched and found a copy of that and watched it with my inner-child eagerly enjoying every minute. It takes a mature person to say whether or not they like something without insulting the people who disagree. Spec'ing properly is a gateway drug. |

We have been through this before. many will buy cap then quit. when another new MMO tanks, they will return and grind new monks. it's a never ending process. What we need here is all Wow players forming together to mass mail blizzard what we want to see in the game, and we won't sub until they add those features. until then we will repeat this endless process and we will be spoon fed pandas and pokemons and more dumbsiizing nerfs until it's pretty much a game of crayons puzzles and everyone holding hands singing kumbaya But we all know that never gonna happen so buy the thing and just play it. |

Interesting article, Bill, thanks. Quite a few things there I'm looking forward to, but I was hoping that scenarios would be similar to Warhammer, or Rifts spawning in Rift, or the plan for GW2, ie pve battles where players can easily join in and leave as they choose.
The pandas thing doesn't bother any more than any other anthropomorphised animal does. The female panda looks livable with, but I always think that until I get to character create screen and then just can't play as an animal which is portrayed as human-like.
Finally, sorry to be pedantic again (that's one of the downsides of having Asperger's), but here in the UK if someone says "it makes my blood boil" it means that it makes them really angry. I'm sure that's not what you meant, Bill; you were trying to say it was exciting, I think? Maybe the usage is different in the US ^^ |

Originally posted by jayarte I've lived all over the US, and it means the same thing here. "Boiling mad" is also a common phrase here. Spec'ing properly is a gateway drug. |

Originally posted by jayarte It depends on the context, blood boiling is kinda like an association with high blood pressure. "That guy really makes my blood boil" is usually used to represent anger. Bill was referring to the fact as it makes him excited and or in another phrase gets his blood pumping. Though bill can correct me if i'm wrong. |

Blizzard finaly gave a nice things to do if you pref solo gaming of with few friends. So much things to do when you hit 90 + all raids will be possible to do trough Raid Finder. Finaly people who like WOW but dont have time in life to Raid even casual 3 nights a week (me as on of that kind of players) will be able still to do it and do it when they have time for it.

Well Blizzard is still the titan when it comes to money income, so they sure are doing something right. As for me, and WoW was my best gaming experience ever, this game does not exist anymore and it is dead, rotting about, stinking the land of the rpg online experience. They should rename it, maybe to world of kidstuff. |
