Unless they're going to change the completely nonsensical 'star-child' bullshit, then they can take their DLC and shove it up hard. Same goes for their so-called 'artistic vision'. It was a completely rushed, poorly written cop-out of an ending. Nothing at all artistic about it. |

I know. I know. You are going to say "But isn't that part of the revision and editing process everyone should learn in a basic writing course and therefore it can't really be disqualified even after you publish?". And the answer is; shut the hell up you judgmental bastard. |

Awesome. Hope to see some bigger differences between the ending and some freaking clarification on the aftermath.

Originally posted by luciusETRUR i found a good deal last month for ME2 (xbox) on origin store. Bought it, chose 4 day shipping (on march 15th) and still dont have the game. contacted them twice and they said its still in process. I canceled the piece of crap and they said i have to wait for confirmation email in order to cancel.... i havent been charged at least, as soon as i get that mail i cancel and screw EA forever and ever until i die. No matter how sweet the deals are, they suck... never touching ea stuff again, including tsw, sadly |

Obviously you haven'rt played the game to the end or you wouldn't make such silly statements. In the end if your happy with crap good for you, but don't begrude those that ask for something alittle better for their money. |

Originally posted by winter i didnt play ME3, actually i read the entire ending mission and results on a website complaining about the crap 3 = 1 same ending. It seems BW is losing its touch. DA2 was pitiful. swtor decisions dont affect anything in your game story. Now ME3 with 3 skins for the same ending that has nothing to do with the decisions you made in the entire series. tsk tsk tsk lol |

It's one thing to know how to tell a story, but it's another to know how to end it. |

Damage control or not, they are listening to their fans, and trying to do right by them. I know that's unheard of for a big, evil company, but Bioware is doing the proper thing here. Amazingly, they DO actually care what their fans think of their games, apparently. And obviously, it's a smart business move too. Don't want to piss of your fan base for future games. |

Although how they came up with this exact thing and i have not seen it in other things I am a little curious about. Maybe I didn't notice but I don't remember seeing a 2 year time limit on ME2 free DLC. |

Oh, for a second there when I saw the title, I thought they had announced they would never again try to create an MORPG. If the conversation turned "Tit-for-Tat", and I've stopped posting, Consider it your win. |

If you see no good or you see no bad in a game, chances are you are bias. |

Originally posted by Kabaal ^ Not really just for the endings being lack luster, but if they actually CHARGED, it would only fuel the fire thats already built around the DLC (particularly the pack you buy that was already by release). They are walking a tight rope in trying to milk peoples money. The endings were disapointing but it doesn't nessisarily mean they NEED to include them free. Issue comes when your already being complained greatly about for trying to milk a fan's money.
If they charged money for 'fixed' endings, it would of put a negative spin on them to begin with, but with the already contraversy with them putting DLC on release date (finished before launch mind you), it would only help to push out a strong veto against EA and Bioware. |

Originally posted by Loser60 This is by far the most elegantly damning statement for the entire franchise.
No need to play ME1, no need to play ME2, no need to play ME3. No need to make any choices at all. You can see what happens simply by using YouTube and clicking three links of some else's game. One for each ending. Bam entire franchise in 15 minutes. Deus Ex Star Child here we come. Its wierd that not only did they copy the Deus Ex (the game) endings. But the entire premise o fthe game is a horribly written and cheap Deus Ex Machina(the dramatic term) as well. It has a weird unintentional symmetry.
And the great thing about it is, the endings may not make you vomit as you wouldn't know enough about the other games to see how little sense they made. |
