Hi all, What MMOs that were released P2P went F2P in 6 months? The ones I know of took atlese a year or more.
Sorry for the dyslylexia, typos fixed. |

It usually take a few months for a company to redevelop a P2P game into a F2P model, which is probably why none I can think of have done that within a 6 month timeframe. Off the top of my head, the two that were closest were Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, and DCUO. God's and Heroes eliminated its subscription fees after being live for about 7 months with extremely poor performance, though the client still has to be purchased, so technically I think it would have to be termed as a B2P. DCUO had a similarly poor start, and went F2P about 9 or 10 months after launching as a P2P. Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned. |

Originally posted by Rohn This is what I thought, but with the SW, some wanted to say it would be F2P in 6 months, so I thought I would see if it ever happoned. Anyone know of a MMO that did? |
