Risen, Divinity 2 DKS, Drakensang. If you prefer turn based games like DQ, then maybe The Last Remnant on the PC. |

Try Witcher 2, great game. If you didnt played first part, try that also. There is of course Skyrim, Dragon Age (first part only). This are more recent rpg games. If you like old scholl, try Baldurs Gate I & II, Neverwinter nights, Kotor, Arcanum......etc...... Have fun. |

Right now I play a good mix of Skyrim, Darksouls, Minecraft, Monster Hunter Tri, and Mount and Blade Warband. All are really fun. |

The download sites seem to have the older d&d games on sale quite frequently. I'd keep an eye out for baldurs gate 2 or neverwinter nights etc. Or the box set containing them both. Personally i'm playing arcanum : Of steamworks and magick obscura and dark messiah of might and magic through again. Could both be worth a look. Also for old school style games don't forget http://www.desura.com |

Legend of Grimrock http://www.grimrock.net isn't out yet, but is an old school dungeon crawl reminiscent of classics like Lands of Lore, Eye of the Beholder, and of course the Wizardry series. Also, Ys: The Oath in Felghana just released on STEAM. I've not played it myself, but I've heard good things. It's definitely not turn based though. http://store.steampowered.com/app/207320/ And of course many of the other fine titles suggested by others in this thread as well. Or you could go play Torchlight, realize how much better than D3 TL2 is going to be, and wait for that instead. Save yourself $40 too by doing that. |

I'm currently enjoying Skyrim. Some other SPRPGs I reccommend are KOTOR and KOTOR 2 as well as the first Dragon Age. Those are some of my favorites. |

If you like strategy games I hear Paradox's Crusader Kings II is good. Thinking of picking up the steam version in a couple of days. Currently bored with MMO's. |

Originally posted by Calhoun619 <3 In that same vein, if you want something more hack n slashy, pick up Ys: Oath in Felgana from Steam. Wow, very satisfying experience, especially the hard-as-hell bosses. no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |
