I use a merc stealth. before that I used Logitech gamers. This, from the people that brought you Tiger Tanks, Mercedes, and Liederhausen is very interesting. That price isn't bad imo. I will look into it. Thanks for the info. |

I really like the look of the roccat products. Unfortunately I haven't been able to obtain any for personal testing, but I have no doubt the products are impressive. |

What kind of switches are used for the keys though? Are they rubber dome or mechanical? Can the keys be swapped out individually if damaged? I know I paid considerably more than what they are asking for the ISKU here, but my Corsair Vengeance K90 is a Cherry Switch, mechanical keyboard that each key is set individually for easy replacement in case of damage. And, it sets on an aircraft aluminum chassis and has 18 G keys with three profiles (like the G15) for macros. Not saying that the ISKU is a bad keyboard, it has a lot of really great features, from what the article shows. But, would like to know if it has the same quality of components and durability for a lower price. If it does, then I'm still within the trade in window for my K90... |

oh come one mmorpg.com this is ridiculous. 2 roccat peripheral "reviews"? these is blatant advertising. there is no testing done. did you check whether the keyboard ghosts, is it spill proof/ resistant, what is the manufacturer claim on life of keys, rubber domes or mechanical keys?, ergonomics- is it comfortable to use? this keyboard is a shiny piece of crap. $90 for a rubber dome keyboard. you can get a mechanical keyboard for that price. mechanical keys not only feel great and responsive but they last about 5 times longer than regular keyboards. they keyfeel doesnt degrade over time and you can always replace the mechanical switches if the get worn out (after ~50 million keypresses) |

I don't own Roccat but if I were to look for one, a review like this would point me in the right direction. It was a bit light on testing the more hardcore stuff, but an overview of 'hey this is the general feature/feel of my use' is more than enough for me.
Wonder why there seems to be more haters on the internet? Read this by an actual marketing guy to find out why. |

I bought a Valo mid last year and it was possibly the worst keyboard I'd ever had. Sent it back to Scan a few weeks later and bought the G510 which I've been happy with since. In short, the replaceable keys would stick down and were not easily worked loose, the keyboard would miss keystrokes and a response from Roccat at the time was to unplug and reconnect whenever this occured, and when the light was on the keyboard would hum noticably. Cannot say anything about the ISKU but after finding from other posters online that mine wasn't simply a faulty unit, but the issues were with that model I would not touch a Roccat keyboard any time soon. They do nice mouse mats and the Apuri is useful if purely a luxury item. |
