I have heard from a reliable source that some key game feautures need to be changed before release, and so realease of the game will not be in 2012.

- next to dodging, they are going to make blocking also an active skill

-tab targetting will not work anymore, and be totally replaced by Fps crosshair target mechanisme.

- Dynamic events will get a random factor build intoo them, which will make them not only react on the numbar of players, but they will also vary between easy cakewalk and almost impossible to win

-many of the  minigames will also be available on your mobile device, the keys for these mingame apps will be avaiale through the item mall

- there will be aditional WvWvW areas added, every 2 weeks you'll get a new area, so that your server will not have to play the same area biweekly. There will also be WvWvW areas for 4 and 5 servers, so they are not bound by having the number of servers as a multitude of 3

- Structured PvP will have added more different game options/areas.

-top level weapons will be added and can only be created by crafters (with ingredients from world drops and explorable dungeons)  the blue sheets can be bought in the store. and on these weapons the crafters can add their own skills from a pool of possibilities.  i.e. for warrior 1 handed sword there might be 10 skills in the pool and the crafter can decide which 3 to choose.

-Top level armor will be added, it works the same as the weapons, but there can only be one skill added to the armor, 5 skills in total, and you can switch between the normal skills 6-10 and these skills.

-Ingame housing will be added before release, so you can build your own hous in your personal housing zone. Or build a guildhall in your guilds zone.

-AI will be very much improved, to make the fights more challenging

While a delay looks bad, it will ensure the game will be even better when it releases, way to go Arenanet. !!!!!!!

Along with major changes....

And they will have races and classes to fight that are actually different than the ones in your guild, and pvp will be persistant, and if your realm has a guild that wins territory then your entire realm will benefit, and there will be a subscription based server for people who don't want to get ripped off by the cash shop.

Is this really happening?! They listen to their fans, I cant beleave it. I'm so happy.

Even if this delay the release with 1-2 months, I cant be more hapy about all that changes.... weeeeee :D
