Does anyone know which blu-ray  ROM software/hardare a person would need to play both region 1 and 2 discs?

PS3's are non-region locked.

For games it is region free, but not for movies.

You can hack it, but that was not really the question.

Blu-ray player? Or blu-ray Rom? Players that are not region locked can be found by a simple google. One on amazon from what google pulled up.

Looks like anything you buy will have some sort of hack done.  If i remember correctly....if you want to change regions for PC, you only get a small number of changes you can make before it locks, to get around that, you would have to hack something.

Buy a standalone player thats region free....maybe with network, streaming or wifi capabilites....they exist....make it work for you!

That is kind of what I found.  I was hoping someone would know of some legal software.  I have found some other ways around it, but I acctually try to play by the rules now.
