Fuel to the fire huzzah.
Anyhow, after watching dozens of videos and reading about the game, I am buying it for sure.
So are 30 people from a guild I am in in one other game ( 20 more thinking wether to get it or not yet ), and so are about 20 of my IRL friends and their friends.
[Mod Edit] Also I'll play it with lots of friends once it comes out. |

Most of the people bashing the game will buy it, play it and enjoy it also. They just enjoy getting a reaction from other people, that's all it is. |

Even though it has dated graphics? And it's pay to win? And Arenanet are evil? And it will give you stinky farts? And the game is causing global warming and ultimately earths destruction? And it's preventing the second coming? Did I miss anything? |

Right now Guild Wars 2 is attracting the most people from my guild that has been spreading out over many games since Asherson Call. over 500 of us are set to pre-order and hopefully that will go up. Get ready GW2, LoD is coming. “I hope we shall crush...in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country." ~Thomes Jefferson |

Speaking of guilds, my guild (I'm not the owner, just an officer) will be recruiting for the first time in GW2. Usually in fear of getting a bunch of punk kids, we kept the list short, but I think there will be plenty of mature players in the game to warrant more members. Weee! no GW2 won't kill WoW, but it's time to move on and quit worrying about those people still playing it. - eyelolled |

Originally posted by Loke666 This ^ PUGing won't be as big of an issue in GW2. Having a good group will matter more for dungeons (especially explorable mode), premade PvP, and organized WvW. Also, the way guilds work in GW2 you will probably wont to have people that are more dedicated representing your guild, as people can have multiple guilds at once. |

Somehow i never stick to the guilds i get in with, for every new MMO i try and find a new guild.
We'll see where it ends
I am 44 years old and none of my real life freinds ever heard of Guild wars. My colleaugues are all into FPS games, except for the one that got hooked by WoW and sticked to it. I dont know if the game will be very popular in Holland. But somehow i cant immagine it not being. Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) |
