This video is mislabeled really. The title should read "How Totalbiscuit feels about DE and a little thief gameplay." April 10 can not come soon enough. Then beta weekends some time after that! Play for fun. Play to win. Play for perfection. Play with friends. Play in another world. Why do you play? |
Originally posted by sinjin I'm sorry you feel like that. I however was quite entertained. Funny how stuff works out sometimes :) * Waves at Pushkina * |

Originally posted by komobo I was quite entertained aswell, chap) Waiting for the other portion, about which he spoke in the end of the first video. It was quite informational and very fun) The "is that rabit vurnerable to bombs?" or just simply "Hi there Lewis, how are you doing today?" jokes :D Also good to hear that a guy like Total Biscuit enjoys this game. For me it's a sign that I will like that game aswell. |

I love his commentaries.. So far the only commentary I enjoy. Yog-whatever I find incredibly annoying and a few others were just too geeky for my taste. Totalbiscuit knows how to be charming and entertaining.
.... and dam him... seeing some thief action has me torn again of what class to play. Well at least my first two or three. |

I really liked this video :). TB seems really psyched for the game. I know I've been really critical over the cash shop recently, but watching this video reminded me why GW2 is so exciting. So, gripes with the cash shop not-withstanding, I am still really psyched for GW2 :). Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob? |

Originally posted by freston Yeah he did. When he first encountered him in the video he said something along the lines of "Hello Lewis" in the video. Hard to say if they actually interacted in game. Would be interesting to see one where they did. I got a kick out of the Magicka ones they did together. 1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. 3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose. |

Originally posted by Wickedjelly I agree with both of you. What I don't understand, however, is why people defend the cash shop so much when there are so many better things about the game to point towards. It would make much more sense to me to say something along the lines of "yeah some of the things in the cs I'm not to fond of, but the game looks damn good." Instead there is a defense of the cs like I have never seen for any other game. |

I'll pass. Im not interested in what a self confessed hardcore GW fanboi has to say. Especially one that isnt any good at all in any game that he plays.

Some things are just going to be one epic adventure, GW2 will be one of those. The more you watch it the better it gets. Will it be perfect ? a 10/10 ? no i think not, but it will take a very very long time before we get to play something as good as this. http://speedtest.net/result/2112016336.png |

The main point I got from the Totalbiscuit is that he had fun. Bugs, controls, polish, etc are going to be a problem but fixable later on. The core concepts of the game that will not change are fun to him. Thats something I think a lot of us as gamers need to consider when we evaluate a game. I am glad he realized the difference between what might be fixed later and what the game is. 1: The zoom out of the map impressed me. In that area where 3 DEs in a very small area vs that brown area as a whole vs what was visible on the world map. 2: It gives the feel an online world not a single player game where you see other people. YES. Personally I have been waiting a long time for this. |
