for GW, what would you need more actionbars for? they made the game so you just use 1-0 f1-f4 and that's about it |

Autohotkeys? Heh. Tread carefully, young one :). 0___x "I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave". |

From what I've just found it seems you can right click to move with your mouse, that usually fixes issues like this for me. For every minute you are angry , you lose 60 seconds of happiness."-Emerson If you can't argue the point don't say anything at all. |

I really hope they add the option to let you reassign keys the way you prefer. Without having to use 3rd party software. This belong to the more obvious customization people expect in a game. |

Originally posted by Zylaxx Turned out most of it was hear-say and "Anet dev told my friend's friend in the beta" so it's not a sure thing yet. Anyway, give them one or two betas more and I'm pretty sure that they're going to fix it, because why would they not? I can't imagine that it takes that much coding to get it done. |

You know GW2 only has 8 or 10 skills on the bars right ? you know that ? or dint know it yet ? It aint wow where you need 50 keybindings to play properly and 20 macro's to be succesfull ! I use 1 2 3 4 Q E Z X + i got the razor naga. Its heaven on earth i dont need to keybind 60 spells anymore <3 http://speedtest.net/result/2112016336.png |

"It's still in beta!", same thing the fanboi's said about swtor and its problems. This close to release the guy who wrote this code has been gone for 6 to 8 months. If they have someone working on it, he has spent a month trying to decipher the "Mayan" code left by the first guy. Pardon any spelling errors |

Seriously people, you need to stop this, picking 1 flaw you hate and threading about how you will never play because of it is getting old, and is the reason this community has a bad rep. Cant you post about the games possitive aspects for a change? |

Invest in a Naga. Never worry about keybinds again. |

Originally posted by Dragonantis its not a flaw though. it goes beyond what the game is designed to do. hes basically wanting to break the hotkey template that arenanet has designed for the game. you simply cant hold more than 10 abilties at a time, nor will you have multiple hotkey bars.. /thread
*edit* actually I guess I need to go back on this. The OP wants to use just the 1-5 keys and use a modifier for 6-0 by using the shift or ctrl key. I get it now, my bad and ya I think this should be addressed. ![]() |

Definitely something that they need to implement. I really can't see them not implementing it though. It's a staple of PC games and very common part of people's preference settings. |

Originally posted by Zylaxx Too bad. Most people seem to NOT use SHIFT or CTRL alot. I sure don't. I also do not see where those additional keybinds would be justified as minimal are needed based on GW2s UI. 1-5 are used the most, then 6-0 as needed. F Keys are based on Class. I see no problem at all. What do you plan on Hotkeying so much? There isn't anything really. Hope you find a better game to play then (Doubt it). I'd try to adapt. ;) TGIF...Thank God I'm Female "Those with the most Opinions tend to have the fewest Facts" |

I think the op is trying to say that he wants to use skills instantly without switching weapons, which is like shooting someone from your pistol whose safety is still on and it's in your holster. This isn't a game breaker for me because you shouldn't be able to fire a weapon that's not in your hand first. It's called immersion, gone are the days where you can instantly just do whatever you want whenever, you actually have to think for a change.
I'm personally setting up my Razor button to switch between weapons so i don't have this problem. |

all my fellow coders out there know how drop dead easy it is to code up key rebinding functionality.
EVEN THE TINIEST 1 MAN INDIE GAMES have no good excuse for lacking proper keybinding! The End |

I'm neither for nor against GW2. It's just not on my horizon. But as others have set, get a good input setup to cover the bad parts of any game's control system.
Personally, a Logitech 110 keyboard, with a G15 Keypad and <insert uber multi-button gaming mouse of your choice here> and I'm golden in any game.
Some people like the Razer Naga, but it's way too small for my hand. Was the same problem with the Logitech G9? Black.
I ended up getting (and this is funny because I don't play WoW) the Cataclysm mouse because I saw many complaints about it being *too big*. It's perfect for my hand.
A good setup, to me, is paramount to a good gaming experience. Now Playing: Rift, Defiance, And occasionally TSW, APB

To the OP.. hang in there! I'll do everything in my power to ensure this wrong is righted and justice is served. But first if you'll excuse me, I have to go save a kid on a ledge because Pandas have appeared in his favorite game and this has developed into a deal breaker. Signed, Supergamesaverdude. |

MMO games have been released with game-stopping bugs, limited to no guild support, broken PVP, and this is what the OP is worried about? This is an easy fix over time - stop the drama. |
