I'm still waiting for the 720p to kick in.
Just finished watching and what the vid confirms is:

Explorable mode no less! Whilst Lewis and Simon are fun with there vaguely camp stumble around style it is a shame buiscuit was away for the weekend. |

Originally posted by Master10K Yup Indeed. Decent commentary though I noticed he introduced things before they happened like 'Frank changed traits here' obviously been through it quite carefully and working from a cue sheet. Should be even better with his own footage. |

Nice to see TotalBiscuit filming again, he's way more informative than the Yogscast. :P |

Originally posted by ipeka Yeah, but the Yogscast have their own appeal and are popular because of it. Just watch this video they did on ArcheAge. |

Nice vid! Definitely nice to see TotalBiscuit comentating again, and it's nice to see some new stuff from the game as well. Will be interesting to see how 'explorable' the dungeon modes are. Was a bit hard to tell w/ the amount of cutting done in the video. |

If you need some video about the new beta that gives you a personal feeling , you go yoggcast . When you rather not sure about the game , Mr biscuit is the one . |

I wonder do people think they'll be able to p2w this dungeon or tank and spank lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns-IIn-DG-c Try to argue this please. Oh also if you quote me and it's to argue my point, if I don't respond it means I haven't been corrected by you and/or I haven't seen it. Remember I don't mind admitting I am in the wrong. Take care :D |

Originally posted by mazut It looks fun but man 4 hours is a long time. It's not something you'll just do on the spur of the moment you'll need to plan to do these. To me it doesn't look that different than raid content in other mmo's (some of the best gear, really hard content that requires planning and teamwork, a big time commitment) just you only need 5 people not 10, 20, etc. |

I agree with TB and look forward to the more chaotic style of the dungeons. I'm so bored with rigid formulas in order to complete dungeons and beat bosses. MMOs need more chaos. Though I suspect type-A personalities will hate this game.
From footage I've seen so far, my impression is that using ranged weapons/abilities would be much more advantageous in PvE. Since staying on the move, kiting, and dodging are so important; why would anyone bother with melee? |

Still not p2w or tank and spank but I know you agree in that regards. It just makes it so you don't have to go allllllllll the way back to a town or such. The reason I like those is because I'm betting they cost 50 silver(except resurrection stones) because as of right now it's 27 silver just to get 100 gems. Add 50 to the 100 say that's worth 50 silver in game which could get you repair kits. I wonder if they will add limits and such. Also can you use them in combat is another question to be answer(well the repair kits.) See if the game didn't have scaling that would be the ideal p2w method but since it does no one can't use those to literally win from an ass whooping, personally one would have to get his ass handed to him/her in order to use those lol.

Originally posted by achesoma Because it is possible to make playing melee actually viable. Like the Warrior in the vid was in the hands of a pretty incompetent player for not playing to his character's strengths. Like if he simply put 10pts into the Defense Trait line and got "Shrug it Off" and maybe got the skill "Dolyak Signet" if he wasn't confident with his dodges, then he would have died a lot less.
Really would love to test it out myself, instead of theorycrafting. |

That looks fun, I hope they don't decide to nerf these after release. Even if I fall into this category, I would still rather see players locked out of certain elements of the game based around player skill and not item stats. The only thing stopping players from completing content is their skill, or lack of. I assume people will still have a problem with this system, but there is always story mode. Four hours? L2p? |
