As an eve player was very vocally opposed prior to CCP introducing PLEX, and then fully unsubbed my 7 accounts once plex was added, I have 100% lost interest in guild wars 2.

A question for everyone mindlessly supporting this P2W...

In WvWvW would you want to know which world has the better players, or which world has the richest players? I dont want to face the world that has the most guilds that have unlimated gold to buy siege weapons ect. 

Anything similar to "plex" worse than any f2p cash shop.

Yep.  This is what I fear.  I don't want to be matched up against these guilds, and I don't want to deal with them on my side, either  I don't want them whining when I zone into WvWvW because I don't have an unlimited supply of gold for siege engines and whatever other advantages being wealthy in pvp might bring.

To fully clarify, siege weapons need supplies, obtained from controlling supply points. Everyone will have the blue prints in a matter of days/weeks anyway.. they arn't rediculously expensive. Also, some blueprints (probably the best) will require other currencies, such as karma or honor, not just gold.

No, you get supply by holding supply points.

No amount of real world cash is going to make your players any better at holding a point in game if they are incompetent.

Am I understanding this right? They are going to sell items in the cashshop that are tradable ingame?

I'd be much less uneasy about this if they took all gold out of pvp supplies and advantages of any kind.  Just make whatever helps a player do well in pvp cost something that can't be bargained for gold.

Oh, and what about hiring mercs?  A time honored practice in AoC, bound to make RMTers drool, as well.

THey said convience and time saving items.

This means a team could will have to spend less time to earn their supply/karma.
