I went this morning to my nearest GAME shop to ask about the pre-order. To my surprise they gave me a date 6/26/12

I asked if this was for pre-order but the girl checked the computer and repeat me that date.

She also said that the price for the game was normal edition fifty euros, CE 150!!!!! (sounds crazy I know)

What do you think guys, was a mistake or it is THE DATE?

Fake unless confirmed by ANet. The fact that you've heard this date from GAME confirms its fakeness.

You are going to get flamed for this.

From anything I've seen, ArenaNet has not stated a release date yet.  However, pre-paid digital copies of the game can be purchased directly from ArenaNet on April 10th and include 3 days head start and access to all the open beta weekends.  We're getting CLOSER to release, to be sure.

Please let me know when it will be IN the stores.  I'm certainly not going to go climbing up on any roofs for it.  That's just a little too inconvenient.

If I ran a store that would except money ahead of time to buy products that were coming out in the future I would give any date too.

Speaking of which...ask me about my GW3 preorder launch date package.

2 years ago i went to preorder GW2 to my nearest game stop and they said release date was early June 2010. A year later i went back to ask again and they said a different date that year. 

Ill take the release date ANet says which they havent said anything about.

Dont kill the messenger guys, The girl working on GAME told me that there will bi IN store on that date, if there is a mistake its hers, not mine.

Also I think the CE price for europe its crazy (and this is probably 100% accurate)
