Same situation here, bought several games through D2D that Gamefly isn't offering. Also, I really don't like the layout/functionality of the Gamefly website. Their screenshot utility is pretty bad, I haven't bothered downloading their client. I think I'll stick with Steam.

I bought a add-on to Tropico 4 from them. It's been 3 weeks and they still can't figure out why it won't download. Hedonismbot: Your latest performance was as delectable as dipping my bottom over and over into a bath of the silkiest oils and creams. |

It's been a month since the D2D->Gamefly transfer, so a small update on how it's gone for me so far. These games I bought at Direct2Drive and got transfered to the Purchase History of Gamefly's website (if any games did not make that part of the transfer it's games I forgot about) and only those underlined and bold are now available for download: Fable 3 So 36 games/expansions show up in the purchase history and only 4 can be downloaded through their client. Luckily some of them I can download elsewhere, but this is terrible customer service. Mind you, this is a month after the transfer. A freakin' month! How long do I have to wait still? I doubt they will make it before the end of april at this rate... I hope many others are having better luck than me. “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” |

Got 87 games boxes all on my shelf 3 games on steam skyrim-trine 1&2(got box but code is not on disk i think had to dl it through steam) i realy hope vavle dont go broke and lose those games hehe. Time goes by and by...and by...and still near no progress. Well they did finally add one game, so now I have access to 5 out of 36. Too bad it is a game I already could download through Origin so in my case no progress. Decided to send another email asking how long it's gonna take and they gave me the same "may take several weeks" BS they have given us for months now and a 20 pound voucher I can't use because with each purchase you need to enter your credit card info before getting to the page to use the voucher and as most dutch people I do not own one and never will. I am so sick and tired of the way they are "handling" this. Has anyone seen some real progress from Gamefly yet? “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” |

I can officially recommend GamersGate, they've always done right by me. And with the ign 15% discount and really good weekly deals, they're pretty damn good. They do kinda repeat deal though, I will say that. [mod edit] |

I do think it's against the rules, but since I am no mod; don't take my word for it. :) I do use Gamersgate for most of my purchases and I agree they are doing a great job so far. I hope that will stay that way. They have a lot of good offers and when you keep checking them you can find some very nice ones every now and then. Atm I am only using Origin apart from Gamersgate and those moments are rare. The chance I will ever buy anything from Gamefly, even when they finally give access to all my games, is slim to none. “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.” |

Originally posted by Fyendiar I agree with your sentiments, and sympathize with you. I hope people protest by not paying or buying anything from them. Horrible business pratice that. |

TBH i stopped buying from D2D, their customer service dropped drastically 2-3 years ago. I popped onto Gamefly, was given discount codes for being loyal and dealing with nonsense but the codes don't work on new games or anything above bargain bin for that matter. Oh well, i have about 20+ games i got with D2D, gamefly supports i think half of them. |
