When we all registered for the beta, there was no box or wall of text where we had to agree with the terms and conditions of the contract. 

So did anyone of you see this while registering for the beta? Did i just miss it?

Maybe when you download the software or before first entering the game?   Or maybe they are over that :)

well ill be prety quiet if i am selected for beta but im sure i am not, i was beta tester of swtor and others like lineage 2 and fallen earth etc etc but i dont think ill get in GW2 because portuguese people are below americans in such area , and the game is made in america so it will probably have more american beta testers or uk ones.

I'd assume the moment you are picked for beta you would sign an NDA at that point. After all, if you only signed up to be elgibale for beta, why would you be under NDA at that point? They might have you click a box saying I am willing to be put under NDA though, but thats all I can really think of.

The next beta test which is the Public beta event will not have a NDA. This one does, and as soon as you get the email that your in your held under the NDA

I think I read somewhere the pre-purchase beta has no NDA?

There was no NDA when signing up for Beta. That being said, I can neither confirm nor deny if I have signed the NDA.

what kinda dumb question is this..anyone who signed the NDA cant talk about it..therefore noone rlly cant answer this :P

Im going to go out on a limb here and say that it works something like this:

1. You register for beta
2. you get a message saying you have been invited to beta.  
3. A link in the email takes you to a place to accept your invitation, which is where you would sign any NDA.

If I did sign an NDA, then I'd confidently be able to say that ham sammiches is tasty with mustard.

Remember GW2 is under NDA - if you are accepted into beta you cannot say so.

I was NOT accepted into the beta, just letting you all know :)

If you sign a NDA, does this also exclude those who look over your shoulder while you play from talking about what they saw you do/or not do?

While I could remaain quiet, I don't think my 3 year old respects a NDA...lol..but he thinks all games are Star Wars!

I'd feel bad for anyone who was accepted and then said so. I think this is endemic of modern society's diminished attention span. (The cause of which is a whole 'nother debate.) It boggles my mind when I see a well-written, three paragraph statement about some random topic followed by responses of "TL;DR."

Granted, an NDA is generally snooze-fest, boilerplate legal copy, but one would figure that if someone was lucky enough to be selected for any game's Beta that they'd carefully read the instructions because of heightened interest in the prospect of joining a Beta, including the rules a company lays out.

there was a good video of a 1v1 theif vs mesmer. it was a mesmer video though.. and if the leak at GWI is correct then press got invited to another beta also. which is this weekend coming up... they took down the link so dont ask for sources lol

i believe the NDA prohibits you from allowing others to watch, so yes if they talk it will break the NDA for you

ya,pretty much every thief video ive seen so far wasnt in the point of view of the actual thief class.thats kinda what i figured the videos were gonna be recorded as.but i guess i was wrong

eather way i dont know.im on the fence about guild wars 2 anyway,im not really unsatisfied with star wars the old republic currently so i might just stick with that instead of goin to guild wars 2
