Originally posted by Ridelynn I just like having the physical copy better. Its a personal preference, now if you wish to start an argument whether it is easier or not is up to you. I like having the physical becuase I can move it between computers, whether it be through upgrade etc easily (to me, anyway), I also like showing friends the box in case they are interested, and letting friends play my games at home if I am bored/ tired of it, without having to tell them how to download it, where from, what happens if there is a problem... I've done it with Guild Wars, Starcraft, etc. And why are you trying to make mountains out of mole hills? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/innovation |

i voted standard digital. not because of what is or isnt contained in the DDE or CE, but because Guild Wars isnt a IP that im a huge fan of. |

CE for me. The last physical CE I bought was the WoW BC. Got burned there. The only change here, is that I like the figurine. It looks cool. The additional stuff sounds pretty neat too. But if it didnt have the figurine, it would be the digital deluxe. |

Why punish yourself by not even getting the standard edition? I don't get it.
edit Forgot to say I'm getting the standard edition. I already have a house full of stuff that needs to be dusted, etc. I just want the game, the beta access is nice, and the ring is a nice little perk. I don't require more than that, myself.

Digital Edition. And I still don't have enough money for it, maybe in May. It sucks if you live in a poor country, but yay for no monthly fees! =) |

CE way over priced, DDE does not have one in game item I could get excited about. Most DDE has a in game mount that saves you 5-20k on all your alts and GW2 is missing that value on the DDE. They would need to add something that would make it alt worthy for me to drop an extra 20 bucks. I dont think they will so its the SE for me. |

I bought The Burning Crusade signed Collector’s Edition from Oxford Street, London.. I really enjoyed WoW then and the hype for the first Expansion.
Since the TBC, nothing to me has offered any real excitement towards a game to even merit the purchasing of a Collector’s Edition.......... until Guild Wars 2, it is relighting a bit of that hype and I will defiantly be pre-ordering the Collector’s Edition!! :D
All hail the Barn Owl! oh.. and the RED SQUIRREL!!! |

Digital Deluxe. I don't really care about the fluff extras but am paying more simply due to them having the nads to go B2P. If i knew for a fact that i'd love the game i'd splurge on the CE... but i won't know that until it's in my hands so £130 is too much for a gamble. Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. |

Plain ol' Digital for me. None of the items in the Deluxe or CE are appealing enough to warrant spending more cash. Of course, I've never been one to spend a ton on a single game. |

You can do it to support a company you believe in or just because you got loads of money and you just want the extra fluff. I personally im buying 2 CE and 6 Digital deluxe. 1 for me and my GF and the other 6 for my friends |
