Sense every profession has the ability to heal is it safe to assume that there wil not be a profession that has a Mortal strike or heal reduction ability. Also as far as leveling is concerned if i focus completely on the pvp leveling aspect of the game what will be the draw back (IE: what will i be missing out on) as far as gear unlocking of abilitys skills and so forth. Also if i focus on pve and dont do pvp what will be the draw backs. Is PvE leveling going to be Faster then PvP leveling; meaning will the xp of me killing someone even out to maybe 2-3 mobs in PvE or dynamic content. |

As More and More internet providers switch to a bandwidth cap that could hurt much of the gaming industry new technical questions arise about the layout of server client interaction in MMO's. Does GW2 favor client side processing or heavy uploads to and from the server. If they favor the client side how do they plan to deal with hackers.
I recognize this has nothing to do with Traits and Professions but hey might as well take any chance i can get to see about a very important question getting answered. |

A couple of things that have been answered elsewhere already: Originally posted by loulaki Yep, they've mentioned the Asura being able to build a golem battlesuit that can be piloted by any player (including of course the asura that built it) and the Norn's shapeshifting abilities as racial stills. Originally posted by deathangell A little while ago on the reddit.com's AMA (Ask Me Anything) they stated that the plan is that the XP and gear gain on WvW (no idea about structured PvP) will be the same or very close to the ones in regular PvE, so that the player doesn't feel at an advantage or gimped by doing one or the other. What can men do against such reckless hate? |

Personally I am against adding more professions after release and if they are added I rather see very few being added (at most one for every two expansions or so). New professions always cause balance issues and makes existing professions less unique in terms of both gameplay and flavor. Instead I'd like it if the focus was on expanding existing professions (in terms of major traits, weapon options, heailing/utility/elite skills). How does Anet see this? Will Anet focus more on new professions or on increasing options of existing professions? |

"With the glaring faults in balance presented in Guild Wars, will players have to look out for the "red-headed step child" when choosing their profession in Guild Wars 2? An example would be every player who has regretted ever making a Paragon." Though this isn't a part of my question, personally I would eliminate the doubt by fixing the root of the problem. Then again, hey what I do I know, I'm just a boy from Texas. Another Question ANet might enjoy, "Is Lucky bad with email, Y/N". |

Will there be some kind of LFG tool? At least something like GW1`s LFG tool. |

Originally posted by kevshootit Armors are class specific (light, medium, heavy), not profession specific. Any scholar (Elementalist, Mesmer, Necromancer) can wear all light armors, any adventurer (Engineer, Ranger, Thief) can wear all medium armors and any soldier (Guardian, Warrior) can wear all heavy armors. There are a few race specific armor sets though. Originally posted by loulaki There are no racial traits. |

Approximately what percent less damage will your character take if you put every attribute point into toughness? Approximately what percent more raw damage will you do if you put every attribute point into power? Approximately what percent can you increase your healing if you completely focus on boosting it?
The purpose of these questions is to help squlech the continuing "will trinity still exist" debates. Hopefully its clear to everyone that if the answers to these questions are relatively small percentages (25% or less) that its not going to be possible to make dedicated specialst tanks or healers. If these perecetages are relatively large then stacked defense and stacked healing might make trinity combat viable. |

Are there plans to have official forums? Not having official forums allows our fansites to thrive. How does a fansite get listed on the official site and receive elite status similar to GW? |

There have been concerns that pet AI might be a potential problem for ranger players. Is this a valid concern or is the pet AI or pet control very well polished at this point? Since underwater pvp has been somewhat confirmed, how well balanced will professions be underwater since there are much less choices for underwater weapon skills? Will there be any underwater specific traits?
Not about professions/traits but i'll ask these anyways. After watching much of the press play poorly in beta, I've noticed some members of the press more frustrated with the higher difficulty levels of dungeon areas. Will there be a tutorial or tips to help teach players to play more effectively? A dodge or "step out of red circle" tutorial would ease players into the gameplay. Will dungeon respawning be a viable strategy in dungeons to defeat a boss/mobs or will there will be measures to prevent "zerging" the boss to victory? Some people are concerned about the lack of player to player trading. What are the reasons for no player trading? Is the auctionhouse replacing all player trading? Is mail the only way to transfer items to friends? The recent trait fee, armor repairing, and WvWvW seige weapon costs seem to be implemented as gold sinks. What other major gold sinks are planned/implemented to drain coin from the economy? What other methods are planned to keep the economy stable? Many "unique" items in GW1 have lost their "uniqueness" and coin value over time due to overfarming/botting, and other factors. Are you considering ways to keep some sense of value or prestige for these "unique" items? Perhaps some sort of item drain? Will there be additional WvWvW maps planned in future patches/expansions? I'm personally a little concerned with the 5v5 matchup planned for conquest. I'm a little worried that most of the time players will be fighting 1v1. With 3 capture points and other objectives such as trebuchet/mini bosses to fight over, won't players be spread too thin between all points of interest? Will competitive pvp mainly be 1v1 fights? Have you considered 7v7 or other matchup numbers for competitive conquest? Anet has stated that conquest will be the only form of competitive pvp on release. Are there plans or ideas for other modes of competitive pvp after release? |

They've already stated there are no racial traits to avoid one particular race being better at a class than another one. There are however, racial utility skills, but the only ones I've seen so far are Elites. For instance, Humans get to summon "Hounds of Balthazaar" as an Elite skill. Questions: Is the underwater content as fleshed out as the land content, to the point that someone could 'live' or at least do most of their leveling underwater? Are you ever planning to go the opposite end of the axis, and create aerial content? I ask because that fight in the clouds between the dragons, from the novels, was pretty cool. "Forums aren't for intelligent discussion; they're for blow-hards with unwavering opinions." |

Originally posted by dndhatcher by endurance, I assume you mean toughness. No amount of numbercrunching will truly convince people that they won't be able to play trinity builds in GW2. The only thing for that is to have lots of people play the game... I used to TL;DR, but then I took a bullet point to the footnote. |
