From Official page: The norn have the ability to shape-change into forms beloved by the Spirits. While transformed, they become closer to those spirits and to understanding the power of the wild. Norn enjoy the bounty of the land, but they do not despoil it, for the wisdom of the Spirits brings them an understanding that tempers their direct, quick-tempered natures. From GW2guru: In their transformed shape they take on an upright half-norn half-animal form; during Guild Wars this was typically a were-bear but during Guild Wars 2 other were-forms such as wolf, raven and snow leopard are also available. The were-form is furred, fanged and clawed and grants the norn attributes depending on the animal they transform into. That's about all that I could find. Maybe someone will be of more assistance. |

They're elite skills, which iirc are unlocked at 35, so they were unavailable for the press beta.

When in doubt, use the wiki: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/List_of_norn_racial_skills |

I don't think racial skills were in the last build at all. They might discuss them in a blog post at some point. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss |

trying like heck to find the video and the link for you. But last I heard was the four forms are still elite spells which focus on a type of stance. All with their own set of abilities.
Bear Form was to be some form of tankish high health and enemy debuff
Thats from memory and discussions so its probably changed since then. I do recall one of the types having some sort of heal or regeneration ability (bear or leopard) but that was from last year blog posts. Seems this is going to be a last minute insert. Just like sylvari elite skills. |

I was wondering how there is nothing about norn shape shifting ability. |

No racial skills have been shown, also i have been making numbers and the total sum of all skill points required in order to unlock all the skills of one class is less than 202 wich is the number of the total skill points that can be found in the world, so we are likely to see more skills coming, i suppose the racial ones. |

Aww crap, I had hoped as Raven I would be able to fly! XD Holy Trinity who art in our MMORPGs! Blessed be thy speccs, as in WOW so in all MMOs! Our daily loot grant us, and forgive us our noobness, as we forgive the noobs! And do not lead us to disconnects, But deliver us from mediocrity, For thine is the specialization and the teamwork and the endgame, Until cancellation, Amen! |

That was part of a heart. It has nothing to do with the norn form. I don't believe we've seen any racial skills in use at all. Most (maybe all) of the ones listed on the wiki were mentioned in interviews, and most of those interviews are several years old, making the pages not much more than placeholders. For a long time "Hazmat Suit" was listed as an asura skill, but that was actually a karma reward from the charr area of the very first demo which happened to use the asura golem graphic. I'd say we don't know any of the racials. For all we know, they've completely reworked them into something different. I don't know how viable the shapeshifting skills will be, but I definately want to see a horde of running bears and wolves in WvW, marching to a castle :D |
