I think there will be a lot of mesmers after seeing some of their stuff in the latest vids that is why I'm choosing Thief first as I think I would have a better chance of taking them out faster :P. After a few months I bet here will be a lot "LF Necro" chat, I reckon they will own in the border lands. By then I hope to have a theif up there. Typically I usually go prime melee class going to go different this time round.

My primary will be ranger.. I just hope that rangers won't be played the most since they are the only class with tamable pets... unlike in LOTRO where hunters made up 50% of population and grouping was almost impossible to not include like 2-3 hunters..

Just watched a vid of a guy showing all the ranger pets and it really kicked ranger up a few notches for me.

This is tough-they all look like interesting and fun classes

I've neve had such a hard time choosing a class.

my top 3 choices are 

Elementalist

Thief

Mesmer

I like playing delicate classes BUT this games Warrior looks amazing.

This games Ranger looks incredible because you can tame world mobs

This games Necromancer looks super cool with the lich mechanic

The guardian you know whould be a blast to play tanky and defend your friends

The engineer would be boss for pvp since denial is a huge mechanic of domination maps.

The one thing is that I'm super good at ranged classes and always play mages but I've never mained a stealther and I think this may be the first game I do that in.

(though the mesmer has stealth............argh)

I'll be playing a Charr Warrior. Crafting professions will be Armor Smith and Weapon Smith. I'll go down the Power trait line. And the weapons I will be using will be: PvE = Greatsword, Axe/Axe. PvP = Hammer, Mace/Shield.

I haven't thought any futher than that.

I'll be a charr, but beyond that I don't know.  I haven't researched the classes yet.

Not sure about Warrior / Guardian, I'm not a fan of melee, I'm only curious about the Thief so far. I'm not interested in the Engineer at all.

Edit: All Sylvari except for Thief (Human). If I ever make Warrior and Guardian, they will be Human as well.
