Shadowbane pvp was equal to or better than DAOC.

Chess The original PvP I'm taking a shot of vodka every time I see a reference to a game being a WoW or Diablo clone. |

I'll vouch for that! Nothing like being outnumbered by 100-1 as you and your friends try to hold off a massive zerg of screaming maniacs. |

shadowbane was full pvp, chances for you alone in the wilds find a enemy guild group and lose all you loted in the last hour would make a lot of people rage quit :)

Just gonna throw this out there Weaponlord is one of the best fighters ever. Seriously, that game desperately needs a proper remake. The game has SO much going for it and came up with so many awesome mechanics well before other games introduced them. |

A little sad I didn't see the Ninja Gaiden (Xbox-Xbox360) games on there, with NG 2 the prime one. I felt like a badass from chaining combos into obliteration techniques without interrupting the flow, and the weapon sounds could have some serious force behind it. My favorite still is, and always will be, the Lunar Staff simply for the sound of its strikes and just how good I was with them! Though, I can understand if NG 3 cancelled it out, nothing wrecks feeling like a badass like a bunch of whiny enemies who start crying and begging as soon as they get a scratch on their elbow.
Otherwise, decent list though I've never heard of that last game. May have to look up WeaponLords sometime now. |

/shrug, playd both. Definitely, no realm pride in SB. Kinda like comparing DF and DAOC, apples and pears, imo |

Where is Mortal Combat? It is 1000% more bad ass than WeaponLord. Where is DOOM? Doom is like Duke's bad ass father. )) Where is Blood? Are we living in 2 different worlds? ;-) |

I would also add Dungeon Keeper (1997) and long forgoten Dominus (1994) - the only 2 games I can remember, where you had the ability to torture your minions/captive enemies. In both games you take the role of evil demigod being controlling minions. -)) |

I thought Darksiders was pretty badass, grabbing a zombie's head and squishing it with one hand, totaly badass.
OH... and my personal favorite Mad World (although its on the Wii)

I was convinced that I was the only one on Earth who played WeaponLord. The only reason I stopped playing is because nobody else seemed to play. Error: 37. Signature not found. Please connect to my server for signature access. |
