"ok, again, I can not put in a support ticket because I've already got one going. The system only allows 1 ticket per account until resolved.
A few days later a GM contacts him (only after another player petitions for him), and this is his reaction -
"Thnx for that, they id get back to me faster.
He is still waiting.
So, charge you for 3 months and let you play for 1 month. Then tell you the only fix is to pay them again.
And the SV fanclub on here wonders why this company has the reputation it has.

Actually he is not waiting anylonger. |

Really? Provide evidence of the resolution of this as the player in question hasn't.
Regardless, shows the incompetance and shady dealing that SV revels in.

Wow a new low for SV as a company? First i thought ceo and gms talking about lies was bad enough, now they are desperate for cash so they switch to subscription fraud on their existing customers? Those who purchased 3 month or maybe 6 months gets screwed by SV??? Im speechless, i did not know they would stoop so low as to ripping their customers off. |

Just for context, Xuansy paid with a credit card that was about to expire. When the credit card expired, the account got suspended. Since the three months had been paid in full, the suspension should never have happened. However, this appears to be a problem with record keeping, not an intentional rip-off. As to the matter being resolved to Xuansy's satisfaction...http://www.mortalonline.com/forums/71441-wtb-flakestone.html#post1269686 If he's selling flakestone in game, I think it's been resolved. |

Originally posted by Bobbie203 This is nothing new. Starvault has been stealing from their customers from the day they went live. They used our CC information (which we used to purchase the game) to auto subscribe us. They started our 30 days paid time the day they launched even though they did not mail (and still haven't) out a working release version on media. Double and tripple billing credit cards to show an increase in subscription prior to finincial release dates. The list goes on and are well documented on these forums and others. It is really a shame that this company still exists. it really is an embarassment to the gameing community and the genre it is supposed to represent. |

Originally posted by Bobbie203 In some peoples minds. That being said, some people seem to consider confusion over expired credit cards to be "stealing". Starvault is not being sued for "software couterfeit, non-respect of the right to credit and paternity, unfair competition and parasitism", which puts them head and shoulders above Dark and Light. |

Just a simple mistake and misunderstanding, but the desperate ex fanbois throw their vomit every time they hear "mortal online".

The OP's issue is not a solitary one though. My initial subscription expired while I was waiting for the game disk to arrive. My next subscription expired while I was trying to download (I ordered the disk because my ISP can be wonky) and install the game. Should I talk about the multiple un-installs and re-installs? In the end, I think I paid for three months that I never had a chance to play. These issues remain unaddressed. There are a lot of things I love about the game and I want it to succeed, even if I never play it again (mainly because of the nerdy combat system). I also respect your bravery for posting here, even if your posts become troll fodder. Hluill, a barbarian rogue, and his Warrior-daughter, Leyek |

Why i'm i not surprised here ? Only things we hear about that game are stuff like that. Now this is a new one, if you pay for multi-month subs with a credit card due to expire within the period, they'll cancel your sub... It's not that they did'nt get paid, they got their money for the 3 months, it's just that in their database the CC is no longer vaild (probably reached the exp. date) and instead of leaving the sub carry on for what he paid for, they turn it off. This is pure thievery. |
