I've been playing alot of mmo since i've first played runescape until I got bored of it several years ago. I've been trying to find a game that I could get hooked into, and most of the mmo games that I've played don't really got some short of progression that I really cared for. I've played alot of games made by asians like perfect world, forsaken world, Silkroad online, and other games like these, but these games are very generic. The same copy and paste, with there automatic "package" offer, the boring as hell grindfest, the lame go here-go there quests with no interesting value, the lame as hell storyline, it's getting very DULL. However there is some mmorpg games out there that I was recently hooked into, some games that I like then progression, but didn't really hold me for so long.

Vindictus was a great game that I like when i first played it, I like the actiony part of the game, but after going though the ice-caves and into anlie, it's starting to get very duel and repetitive, and it's get that far when I gotten my karek to level 30+ where it's becoming a grindfest of istances and less exp gain from quests, and I don't like grind at all unless it's something special. I stop playing the game for a while when I got bored of the same repetitive dungeons, boss fights, people with laggy connections in most of my games I played out,  can't make a boat and get the "server delay responce, please try again later", and other annoyances.

Everquest 2 was another game that I got hooked into because of the uniques crafting in the game, and the dozens of quests that keep me playing for a while. I like the crafting system in the game because it's not your normal "click and wait" like most mmo pathatic useless crafting systems like Rift, and other games that made crafting useless or not-so-fun. The crafting system keep me hooked until I hit around level 30 on both Tradeskill level and Advanture level and sadly it became boring and not quite so fun, although I like how they try to make it somewhat realistic with crafting problems and try to fix it quickly kinda deal but sadly it got boring after a dozen times. Crafting is not the only reason why I can't get back into the game, it's the combat of the game as well, when I used to have a level 30 warrior on the Everquest F2P program, combat become somewhat boring when i'm pressing almost every fucking skill that I got to get one enemy. you can't really spam an ability and my attacks are not getting strong enough, dispite me having a full set of rare crafted level 30+ gear.

Now since I cannot get into both games, I've been trying out World of Warcraft, and I am still playing it to this day until the release of Diablo 3 when I officially retire permantently with WoW. World of Warcraft somehow got me interested, I used to level up a character by the name of Ruple in the Misha Server in WoW (it was not my first character, but is my first character to reach level 85 personally). What got me hooked into this game was when I finally somehow got the will to press on with trying to get to the highest level, gone though BC content, WotLK content, and finally gotten into Cata content. Qusting was kinda fun but very repetitive that sometimes i don't want to play this game until some other time. Tradeskills become sometimes a grind when trying to obtain resources and spam craft the same material until a certain tradeskill level for boring progression (however it becomes useful later on when you reach max level). The only thing that kept me playing this game was raiding, I've recently joined a guild that was called Wraft, and did Bastion of Twilight and Blackwing Descent, and it was kinda fun but until we start wiping more then three times, i've become somewhat annoyed. After wiping 5 times, i'll become demotivated and kinda pissed off. I never like the strategy of taking down Nafarian, as my 10-man raid seem to always wipe during the 2nd phase, and the 3rd phase of the fight. Firelands was kinda hard before they nurf them all down, when it was hard, we can only take down shannox... now after they nurf all the bosses, we finnally gotten to ragnoros, but could never get him down due to how confusing my guild tactics was when we try to take down the sons of flames during the transistion of the 2nd phase, and we never gotten to the 3rd phase cause most of us are dead. My guild raid ended recently after I got pissed off with the guild, pissed off of the wipes, and my patiences no longer existed, I left the guild on the day we was facing Ultraxion the 2nd time, and deleted all of my characters and uninstall the game in my own rage. I got tired of WoW, I got tired of the community, I got tired of the repetitive tasks, After doing raiding for about 4-6 months, it become boring.

I am now trying to find another game to get addicted to, however due to my lack of cash to afford to subscribe 15 dollars a month on most of these mmo games due to my unemployment and the sucky economy and hard-times to get a fucking good job out there. I'm only limited to playing free to play games, however there is none out there that I could get addicted to. I've tried many mmo games out there and they all appeared boring, stale, and uninteresting with there regular "go here, kill x of y" with no storyline and just utterly... just boring. I want a game to get into without me getting pissed off easily like the MOBA games does to me, not an awful community full of fucking trolls like APB Reloaded, Heroes of Newerth, League of Legends, and other games that pisses me off or bored me to death.

When I play though these games, I sometimes wonder what was the developers thought of all this... did they even tested the game out for themselves? did they ever try to make something new for players to get into when the player get's bored of doing crafting or questing, or raiding? Why make an Achievement system if there is no special reward for doing these achievements? When I play though TF2 when it became fun before the hat and crafting  update, I was having a blast playing TF2, dispite the fact that I raged the game so many times, the fun factor was that when you do achievements, if you unlock like 6 of them ,your earn an new weapon, i've enjoyed unlock these achievements because there was progression involved, however now in most of these games, it's nothing more then useless point gather with no useful rewards). Now after the hat and crafting update, the game became... boring and repetitive trying to play though most of the game trying to be lucky to earn a useful item, I've end up raging when I cannot get a single decent kill and i end up getting killed 3x faster, and the infamous server bug where I cannot join a single server, like the master list broked and this happen to me so many times that TF2 no longer became playable, and i've recieve no proper fix from the forums.

I want a game that contains:

- The ability to make a guild hall, completely customizable and the ability to place useful objects and decorations into the hall. The ability where your guild hall can be under siege during either a city raid or a guild war (see the aftermath of the destruction and watch how you rebuild it all step by step).  Your guild Hall has progression among appearance, depending on your guild level and the hall you purchase, a lowly level 3 guild that purchase a guild hall almost resembles an empty abandon house, but later improved via guild level, better funiture and decorations and improvements that are unlockable via achievements completed and the resources to craft them (i don't want to pay 900 gold to buy a furnature and watch it appear suddenly, I want to craft my own decorations and renovations with resources and proper design, mine my marble to make marble slabs and use my marble slabs to make my marble staircase.

-A Hybrid City Management system where both players and NPC work together, expanding or making a village, expand it further to allow players and NPC to build merchant shops for players and NPC's, to Build a city wall to make the city more safe. To construct Auction Houses and Guild Shops, and many useful things. It's like imaging playing World of Warcraft when Stormwind was not big as it was and the community patch along to gather resources, craft them and use them to construct stormwind into a mighty fine capital city. It's like Warhammer leveled cities with more levels with no cap, and crafters are very important for expanding the city, and enchance the defense from an impending raid that can destory the city and could possibly smash it to pieces and back to a village if they really strike a major blow.

-A community that is stong enough form these cities and make it grow, where guild has guild task for everyone to perform if they want their guild hall to become big or make their cities grow or to help other guilds out in times of needs, to form alliance and war against other guilds or factions. To raid dungeons to prevent an evil that could appear as an NPC army that could overrun towns and villages (again, imagine if people stop raiding Bastion of Twilight, and the NPC formed an army that can litterly siege the city of Ironforge, and the camps in Loch Modogn, and wetlands was destoried and have to be rebuilt by players and NPC together, quite  a hassle).

-Crafting that is somwhat like a mini-game, or a click and wait, or something else with each has their own rewards and consiquences, for example, if I was mining on a click and wait, I won't get the strongest grade of the metal, but i can get resources quicker then usual, but if I play a mini-game of a bejeweled styled mining puzzle, I get a stonger metal but resources are at my own pace on how well I did on the game and how fast i've completed it.

-The game has a combat system has fast paced like Vindictus and/or Savage: Battle of Newerth, with unique mobs has special attacks  to make you look out for. where Warriors need to learn when to block, dodge, and attack at the right time when facing big mobs, to where mages have to be smart and find a elemental weakness and aim their spells right, and try not to get killed by their own abilities when they launch an explosive fireball too close. When sieging a city, where siege engines like catapults, ballista's, siege tanks, and ladders try to mount the walls and try to destory them or the gate to get into the city and raise hell, burning down the city and guild halls, where everyone need to defend, wash away the fires, and fight back, watch for enemy ambushes and sabatoges or underground tunnels underneath the city for the enemy faction to invade the city from.

Overall, it's like what I am looking for is a combination of: Face of Mankind with  it's strong community and faction warfare elements, and how well everything look organize on each faction with their systematic features, Darkfall online for the freedom of building up a base and have guild wars against another player, and to play as a pirate if you want. Vindictus for it's fast action combat, World of Warcraft for it's raiding system and mobs with unique abilities, Warhammer for the development of leveled cities and community effort to build and rebuild a city after a city war raged before and after, and Everquest 2 and SWG for it's crafting system and it''s unique player housing and guild hall system among with decorations and useful management of useful objects. A game combined with these features that other games has made will probably make a great game imo for me to get addicted to probably for others if they are interested into base building, crafting, fast paced combat, and other fun features.

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but maybe try Atlantica online, it has a very nice combat system which requires quite a bit of strategy and thinking at the higher levels but the rest is standard MMO fare and I've heard the games cash shop has become outrageous now but I quit playing years ago.

Another title I just saw a video of today is wakfu, I suggest checking out the developer Blog they released yesterday to get an idea of the game. Very unique game from I saw.

Other than that your options really are limited, not many unique games out there and the ones there are have a lot of nagging issues with them. That said, the coming AAA titles are bringing much needed innovation.

I wish I had the skills to make a game like this, the right engine that enforces this, the right team that can make such a game to appear. I'm looking at Acheage as there are some things that game has that I like, but not all of it.

I've played Dofus and Atlanctica online, Atlantica is ok but i don't like how their crafting is also done by combat.
