A workable version of the BFG gun from doom. 2 minute charge up between shots  just to build up ther suspense for me :)  Battlegrounds here i come.

I would walk up to random players, open trade with all of it and then go afk.

I wouldn't have that sum because a game that focus that much on money rather suck in my eyes. 

Meaning I would break the NDA and E-bay the account and play something good instead.

How's the gold farming "project" coming? Your thread creation history is quite......interesting.

It is going good it should be done in the next week or so.  I think it will be a great realization on the price people pay for virtual items and the reality of gold farming.  I didn't even realize that there are doumentaries on this topic.

Back when I played the original EQ, I accumulated over 800k plat.. 400k came when I sold one of the very few Scepter of Destructions on my server.. Eventually after selling the plat on pa.com, I made roughly 10,000 dollars real life money.. So, to answer your question, If I became rich on a MMO that is popular, I'd sell the money online for real life money.. Scre buying virtual stuff in game if i can turn those virtual dollars into real life dollars...  Unfortunately, gold selling, item selling, and account selling is nothing what it used to be 10 years ago. :/

I completely agreee i think with the diablo 3 AH we will see a surge in "gold farming."  Becfore rings of farmers were made and now people can just do it themselves and keep the profits.

Sudden wealth is usually very destructive to my enjoyment of a game. 

I've encountered situations were a single ultra-rare drop ruined a game experience for me, because it suddenly made all the daily questing feel pointless.

Something badass like 'The Pegasus Archangel's Staff of Divine Retribution Burning Apocalypse Doom' and the Pegasus that comes with it.

 Same here, would probably also spend it on mats or small time investments for those new into game X, just enough to get them started.

What are some vanity items that sell for crazy amounts on the auction house in RIFT, Final Fanstasy, Star Wars and Lord of the rings?  I have never played these and don't even know if they have an auction house system.

If I had it in GW I would go and buy the green 5y pets and then probably obsidian armor for most of my chars and just get all 50 points in the HoM.  Seems like most of the points can be had with just a little big of plat.   Then I would pay people to help me finish all the content I had not finished yet.

I have $300,000 in APB and I don't spend it because I don't want to run myself short.
