on a side note, if the game is F2P it will have poor content update, they need MONEY everything is about money if there is no euros/dollars there is no game.

I don't know a single MMO that allows you to play without a credit card number or some sort of payment plan selected.

Unless SWTOR is different, the poster you quoted most definitely had to "cancel".

im gonna sub till this game shut down. im having that much fun. And in the end thats all that matters

i dont care if a game reinvents the mmo genre all i care about is if a game is fun to play and if i enjoy it and i love playing tor and am enuoying it immensly 

i bit addicted according to my gf, when im not playing i find at times wishing i was. But i like to spend time with gf and family and do that even when im itiching to play tor.

its a fun polished game and ill sub until it shuts down or goes free 2 play.

I've yet to see anything to even persuade me to buy the game... maybe in a few months time when there has been a few real player reviews put out.. but have to say.. from what i've seen on some of the play throughs on youtube.. im far from convinced that this is that good of a game

Ok, up front, I will admit that I didn't ready all 247 comments.  I did read the first 18 pages so around 180 and it seems as though, people posting are much more likely to sub than those just answering the poll question and not responding.  This is much different than what I usually see on these forums where people generally pick the positive and it is the negative posters actually posting.  All in all, I'm not actually sure what that means (if anything) just an observation.  Oh and yes, I will be subbing if for no other reason than my laptop won't run the game and I'm out of town til the first of Jan unable to play.

You got your code from either buying the box or the pre order.  It gave you 30 days, without entering a credit card. In order to play past that you had to subscribe.    When all you had to do was not subscribe at all Yea it was a bit different process but that how it was working since it was new.

It just spoke volumes of somebody who had no clue how the billing process worked.  If he hated the game that much he should have canceled his pre order. Funny thing the person still has access until 1/13.  That is when the billing kicks in, and like I said you had to enter a credit card to subscribe.  If you don't  it just locks your account at that point.

Just proves my point neither you or him knew how the billing process worked and I got to ask why are you even in this thread.

Got to love it hes not going to resub to a game he does not have a sub for.  Man the trolling in this thread has been epic.  I have to wonder why so many fake posters are posting about this game.  Rofl.

So long as there is content to keep me playing, yes. Aside from that, it's either boredom or a competior that causes me not to sub.

Logic Prevails again!!!!

I cancelled my subscription last night after a few hours play. There's just no way I'm going to pay monthly for what is essentially a single player game. I still have game time up until early next month so I'll continue playing on and off, but already I'm starting to become tired and a little bored of the same old same old. It's like I'm repeating the same task wherever I go.

"Hello Smuggler, something bad is happening to someone or to somewhere, can you go and fight through a mass of creatures and click four glowing items for me? Thanks."

Next NPC.

While the story is nice n' all, it doesn't help when I'm repeating the same thing over and over.

How I thought too and the game doesn't offer much else but doing the same flashpoints over and over and battlegrounds. I just feel like these are the two reasons why I got bored with WoW years ago because the end game was just the same. I thought the game was going to be KOTOR 3 - 12 or whatever they said but the class quests make up so little of the actual questing content. Rolling an ALT is so boring because you'll be mostly the same fetch and kill 10 of these quests.

The space game is crap, there is not denying that, it is just horrible to the point I'd rather play Star Fox. The crafting in the game was a kool idea but it is too shallow and you cannot play the game to just craft, especially now with the AH being such an after thought and most professions being useless.

The whole way world PVP is set up on planets is such a disapointment, even to the point where WoW does it better. It wasn't what I thought it would be with two factions sharing the same worlds but just enter at different points. It only seems like it is small contested zones that offer hardly any freedom and you cannot raid each others cities and stuff like that.

I wanted to like the game but I'm bored of it and guess what, my friends have gotten bored too and are mostly playing Saints Row 3 which is weird, I must give it a go.

Don't do it, I played the beta and the rest of the story lines for the other classes are garbage, especially the smuggler. The agent is the best, they took some real time and effort into doing it.
