Loving the game so far, but really not liking that they take down the game AND the forums at the same time, seriously? No better time to read up on the game/community at times when I can't play :) .

Really? I was around for the launch of Rift and I dont seem to remember a large bug fix patch a week after launch. I know there was one, but I'm pretty sure took longer than a week and definitly wasnt bigger than this list. Though, to be fair, Rift had far less tech issues than SWTOR seems to have at launch. Rift had its fair share but it seems SWTOR has a TON of little things. Not gamebreaking things (it seems) but lots and lots of little things.

Could be  my faulty memory but I remember pages and pages of patch notes. I was talking about quantity more than how long. I remember about a dozen hotfixes over the first two weeks then the first main patch (about 2 weeks in to be fair) however there a dozen pages of patch notes for that 1.1 patch. I was staggered.

This is true. There first big bug patch was HUGE. I guess I'm just thinking more along the lines of they may be giving even the really minor patches numbers. If this IS what they call a large bug fix patch I would be really suprised and I think they will be to at the backlash from paying customers. I mean hell, my opinion doesnt matter I havent given them any money lol.

 There's never going to be chat bubbles. If you go to the chat window and select the other tab it records all dialog without the general chat spam so you can scroll back through it.

Comapring SW:TOR to Rift is like comparing a Mercedes C-63 AMG to a 1970's Renault 4, no comparison really. Personally I haven't met any big bugs on my journey yet but if it has happened to other players it surely must be frustrating, hope they get on to it soon for everyones sake.

I work in shifts.........So for me it sucks big time as i need to work from 1400 hours to 2200 hours -_-

Bad timing from Bioware to get the servers offline :)

They need to do this stuff in the night EU time so the least amount of players are affected by downtime.

For paying subscription i think it should be mandatory to let players play on their free hours.

Hope to see this changed in the future tough :)

 The funny thing is it happens in so many games. Fallen Earth had the exact same two bugs. Completely different game engines same bugs.

It's because I want to look cool with my gear and the green crap is cramping my style.

Yay Resource Node Fixes.

I wonder if they actually hotfixed this prior to the patch. I noticed it probably 50%-75% of the time in early access where the nodes would be unlootable but the past day or so most of the gathering nodes have worked aside from maybe 1-2% in my case at least. Of course this could be because i was gathering in/near heroic mobs where a lot of players might have avoided going.

Hope they fix the guild/group chat bug too. Having to re-join a guild is a simple fix but it would be better to not have to keep leaving and getting re-invited when guild chat/group chat bugs out.

Glad to see that they are patching and already at work on 'some' stuff. That said, some of the things like a fair few people (at least on my server..can't check forums atm) having chat related issues, not seeing chat or not being seen IN chat are much more important than a few mobs in bad locations. TBH, even before reading the post (thanks OP) when I saw that it was a .01 patch, I didn't expect a lot of the bigger problems to be addressed.

I realize applying potential patches to the chat system are potentially BIG issue generators (remembering some fixes that broke more than they fixed in past MMOs) but i do hope they have some of the more noticeable problems on the workbench as well. Heck, those bloody green lasers sheeting out the landscape are going to cause eye issues for some ;P

Ah well. Time will tell. I am enjoying the game and will be playing it for the foreseeable future. Let's hope fixes that help others to so are fast forthcoming.

Yeah, Kolto slime overlay does nobody's look any favours.

Doesn't seem to happen with my Kolto probes though (operative here), so I hope they sort the BH bug out.

I do however get the random cackling laugh when I crit on heals, I thought that was BH only, and I'm kind of concerned that it would appear to be part of the design, it gets kinda creepy tbh.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
