Danny if you don't like the real issue don't look at it or surf the web - it's part of life I'm afraid... freedom of choice/expression. |

one thing is certain. the best way to impact positive change and be taken seriously is to exaggerate the problem, and fail to describe the problem accurately.
/sarcasm off.
non-nude suggestive fantasy images are not porn of any kind. making them out to be worse than they are will only get you laughed at. |

Originally posted by DannyGlover These woman sell themselves and profit from that objectivity, acting as though they're victims is ridiculous IMO. For every minute you are angry , you lose 60 seconds of happiness."-Emerson If you can't argue the point don't say anything at all. |

Originally posted by Cruoris no, it also seems to get a serious response from the site administrators, god help us all if any adverts depicting violence or criminal acts appear. I saw one with gangsta in the title, please can these be banned as I let my young children surf this site unattended and it is not appropriate for them. I'm not going to run away from the internet just because exploitation exists. I'll stick around and call it out. Freedom of choice/expression goes both ways :) |

Never said these women are victims. Hell they could be millionaires laughing their way to the bank. Doesn't change the fact that it is objectification and degradation. People willingly degrade themselves all the time. Doesn't make it ok. |

Danny the girls in these adds are not being exploited, they are getting paid by choice to be models. I could see if children were getting exploited, but by no means are these adult woman getting exploited. |

Originally posted by Lowcaian Yep. The graphic violence is fine, but sexuality is a no no. I getcha dude and I am an American, proud of it. But even to me that seems really really backwards. 10 bucks says the OP would be fine with ads depicting violence on this site. A shadow of a nip and its a huge issue tho. Oh well. He is entitled to his opinion and us to ours. Block your children from this site if you must. But IMO leave it as is, not everyone shares your point of view. |

Exploitation and willful consent are not mutually exclusive. |

Originally posted by RefMinor letting your child surf the internet AT ALL unattended is unappropriate, if restrictive parenting is your style. the net is a free culture, and once you remove subjective restrictions, all kinds of ACTUAL REALITY start to slip in.
dig a hole and throw your kids in it. this will protect them from any other things that happen in the world. that way, you can continue to apply your warped sense of selective reality to their minds in peace. |

Sex sells. Companies have been using it to sell products for years. Ever see any 200 pound ugly chicks hockng perfume? Howeverf the adds for some of the Asian grinder games are getting close to child porn. |

Originally posted by CruorisOriginally posted by RefMinor I think you missed the sarcasm in my post. oh and by the way, if you dont talk to your kids about sex and condoms, and sexual mistakes at a very early age, you increase their chances of lying to you, sneaking out, doing stupid things without adult support, getting pregnant or STD's including AIDS, but more likely simply being sucked into a culture of peer pressure with NO DEFENCE MECHANISMS DEVELOPED. you're children are not angels from heaven, they are fledgling humans who need to have the truth of this world woven into their fabric of being from as early an age as possible. pretending a sexless existance can happen is not "protection", its preventing your children from seeing the world as is it. here is a link that will show you the age old error of your ways.
