No, it was in EQ II forum, first two months!... Maybe that was your twin brother...

Or was it in Age of Conan forum, first three months?! It must have been you..

I got it. Champions Online, first two months

No, it must have been in the Darkfall forum, first... 8 years.

I can go on forever. First quarter after release, people post this exact same little fan post, and others, bashing those that have the evil, cruel, pathetic mindset to critizise something you like and try to ridicule them. Then... after the pink goggles fall off, (4-6 months later) the little whining begins against the game, you creep up on the barricades together with your earlier enemy and pretend you have been standing there all along, knowning full well the flaws of a product that might be good, but could have been alot better.

Try to keep some objectivity. Try to look at the whole picture and accept that even if you like the new shiny, it does come with its set of flaws and problems. It would create a much healthier discussion base than this little jihad.

And before you start to bash me for being an all nonsense hater... I love Anarchy Online, Always had, since relase, and I was there.... My love for flawed games is endless, if they are good. Thing is.. I can still say it, proudly. I accepted the flaws, not ran around and called those that pointed them out "Pathetic"

The only reason the people I know are playing is cause they maxed out in Rift (raiding and PvP gear) and need something else to do, most said they wont play past the first month if something else comes up. I personally thought it was boring by playing the open beta and didn't want to waste my money on it.

i currently play AoC, Champions Online, and am thinking of vangaurd also, and i play MMO's you havent listed which are DC universe, LOTRO, i have previously played APB in the last 6 months but quit when i notice the news article about the warning to hackers? i didnt notice any hackers in my time of APB but gave me a reason to quit that game, current MMO's i play are what i enjoy and SWTOR is not enjoyable for me...

Why does anyone care what another person thinks of a game they play? Least of all random anonymous people that may or may not be trying to get your attention. And care enough to post about it?

I personally don't like the game at all, but I've rarely mentioned my dislike of ToR in my posts here or anywhere. So I feel the same when it comes to trying to get people to somehow dislike a game I dislike... why would I care what another person thinks of a game I don't play?

I think the OP is an EA troll.

I can take it serious, it's the same mentality like BF3 vs. MW3.

Your argument is pointless. I was there for WAR , AoC, ec ect.  

I never EVER came on to forums to bitch.  I enjoyed those games.

I spent my money, and it was my choice to spend my money on those games.  I had fun in every one.

$50 bucks plus 14.99 for a few months down the drain.  Who cares?  It was fun.

WAR was fun, AoC is still fun.

If I buy a game and feel i wasted my money, it's not the developers fault, it's my fault for choosing to buy the game.  

So I'm sick of the negativity, as unfounded as is, makes me some kind of fanboy?

As a Miami - Heat fan (NBA), it feels good to rub it in against Dallas fans.

Course, games are not like sports teams at all so that logic can not be applied, but fanboys/haters are not usually rational like that. If they were rational, they'd realize that liking MW3 has nothing to do with liking/hating BF3.

It could be cause people actually think the game is a disappointing waste of money and when they see posts of people saying "Greatest MMO ever" and "Most Immervise MMO" or better yet "Best RPG ever made" ... obviously people are going to disagree.

You are correct OP.....it is the same 10 to 20 posters saying the same "wah we wanted a sandbox" daily. Dont bother telling them to STFU cause you heard them the first time, as it gets ya banned.
