I am calling for a single day without hate and hostility here on the boards. I am asking that everyone try to put aside our need to flame, argue and troll for just 24hrs. Please, regardless of your beliefs, this is a time of family and friends. A time for looking back on our lives from the last year and making an effort to improve next year.

Let's make December 24th, 2011 a Day without Hate here on MMORPG.

If you define differences of opinion as "hate", then you're likely to find a lot of hate in the world.  You'll see a lot less of it if you take a narrower view of the concept.

The word troll has lost it's original meaning the fact that someone disagrees with you or the majority doesn't automatically make him/her a troll which seems to be a common belief these days.

I actually "ground myself" from this site every so often, even nearing the age of 40, the continuing influence of negativity can get to a person. Perhaps,even rub off on a person. I have to do the same thing with my beloved Opie and Anthony show.

So for one day no one should post anything negative?  Given this is a 'forum' for an exhange of ideas... Why?

I didn't ask for people not to post their opinions, even if they are negative. I simply asked for a cease-fire on all of the wild and mostly unwarranted vitrile shown in the majority of posts here. Then again, seeing as how even this was met by knee-jerk reactions and negativity(for the most part), I seem to be the only thing out of place here. Point taken, no positivity or rational thought is welcome here. Happy Holidays anyway.

Flame, Argue or Troll = Debate, Counter Debate, Discussion or not take it all to serieus you know:).
Its after all a gameforum not a life saving world issues hehe, so its not HATE but healty difference of opinions nothing more:)

 Yeah...that's NEVER going to happen!  Over 7 years here and I can't even think of an HOUR that went by, much less a day.  The bitter oldtimers are too well represented here for it to ever happen :D

The fact of the matter is that these forums *exist* so people can discuss these games, and with discussion comes difference of opinion.  If we were all here stroking each other each day and fanboying the games we love, no one would come to the site anymore.  Debate is fun, and while some people take it personally and spaz out, many do not.  Welcome to the human race.
